Cole Beasley

He is not going anywhere this season, however he is an UFA next year.

If he gets a big offer in free agency, we probably let him walk for the comp pick since Switzer is basically a clone of Beasley and much cheaper.

So if you put 2+2 together its real simple to come to the conclusion that this might be his last year with the Cowboys.

I've read in a couple of places on this board, that we may be thinking of getting rid of Beasley, Why? and do you think we should?

The only place I've read it is as a fan post. From hero to goat in 2 years. I suspect the why is the hope thatSwitzer could replace him and cutting saves some cap space.... net @2.25 mill. Chump change. As for the should? No, IMO. Should we find out what Switzer really is. Hell's yes

I'm good with letting him go to improve the D. I think Switzer has the higher ceiling
Only then. If doing something with our Tiny Viking nets us a better D, I'm ready to roll with the Switzle Stick and only then.
Beas is a weapon. Switzle could be too. Better to keep both and utlilize them to max effiency, unless you can make a trade, or gain clearance to grab more D.
Only then.

It should be a Yes, but with some caveats.

Why are yall talking about Beasley? Two years ago he was a beast.
I didn't read the thread, but I made a whole lot of assumptions (most likely mostly correct) and posted the way I did.
Was I wrong?

I'd like to see Switzer actually beat him out rather than get rid of Beasley to allow a player who had six receptions last year to just step in as the slot receiver.

But for that to happen they actually need to give him snaps, which they haven't.
