No. Hyper-inflated markets are not ONLY caused by a supply and demand problem. There are other variables that go into the creation of bubble markets from hyperinflation other than just reductive supply and demand. You act like this is a hostage situation.

I’d still like you to address your strange comment about “teams with the best QBs would start losing if this were true”.

What did you mean by that?
If QB's are drastically over paid and it negatively affects the overall performance, then you will see a shift to favor teams with underperforming QB's winning.

You said the best QBs would start losing. Mahomes carries the water for his salary and then some. So does Lamar and Josh Allen. What you said makes absolutely no sense.

Overpaying mid-tier QBs leads to losing, especially in the short term after grossly overpaying them right after they sign their second or their contract, and that’s what we see.

I did not say that. If over paying top QB's was a problem, you would then start to see a shift.

If you have a competent QB, either be prepared to pay him top dollar, or flip the Rolodex every year for a QB. The QB market is insane and you must be prepared for that. What I think the league should do is simply make a salary cap for QBs, and a salary cap for everyone else. This way you have two completely different salary caps and can actually build a team since the QB market is insane right now.

A smart GM would negotiate prior to their last season. If the QB/Agent is unreasonable then you trade him. It has to be as simple as that.
