Translation, Dak puts up monster numbers against the minnows of the league and disappears against better competition.

That's not accurate. Dak had a huge game against Tampa last year, despite the team losing narrowly (403 yards, 3 TD's). He also had big games against the Pats (445 yards, 3 TD's), Eagles (avg of 268 yards & 3.5 TDs/game), Raiders (375 yards, 2 TDs), all of whom made the playoffs.

as jimmy johnson said about Dak . he needs Everything to be perfect around him to do well .... and he was being polite while attending Jerry Jone's HOF party . Dak is a bus driver with some nice flashes , but no consistency or critical game management skills. Defense will have to keep this team from losing more than 6-7 games to have a chance at the playoffs.

If Dallas starts 0-2 it will be mayhem , the cowboys will need to win at least one of these. MM knows jerry won't be able to keep him if they don't make the playoffs.
