I don't really care at this point if some fans want to hear it or accept it. That doesn't matter. You make up your own minds.

The right QB for the Dallas Cowboys is not currently on the roster.

This may be true and the fact that we never use a first-round draft pick for a quarterback may have quite a bit to do with it in my opinion.

Seems like it's Jerry's life mission to take an unlikely candidate and somehow groom him into the next Troy aikman or Roger Staubach to prove what a football guy he is to the rest of the NFL.

Romo was coddled even more. 3 years in a row just needing to lead the team to a last season game win in order to make the playoffs, yet failed all 3 years in a row, but still got a franchise record at the time 2nd big contract.

It doesn't get more coddled than that.

Pfft. It doesn't get any more coddling than not allowing an open competition with a veteran QB when you're a rookie because you've just been handed the job due to his injury and also an injury to the backup QB.

My goodness looking back on that was such a horribly frustrating time in Cowboys history.
Not sure who could get on my last nerve the worst Romo or Garrett . Leading us continually to the NFL purgatory of 8 and 8 where we couldn't draft well and didn't make the playoffs either.

You can overlay Cousins and Prescott's stats and not tell the difference. I've always said that. One (Dak) is just more popular

And Steve Young was just logically explaining something that happened in his career and how it could maybe translate and help Dak. Noting more or less.

But to be fair, very few QBs have winning career records vs playoffs teams.

People have slowly caught onto the fact that Dak isn’t good when it matters; he has to be surrounded by all-pro players who get WIDE open in order to be successful.

not so sure about that at all. The media has their darlings and it aint Dallas. In fact, I see a massive media bias against us. Its a Jerry thing. Teams like Steelers,KC, Bmore, Denver, New England, The Saints, The Bucs...all get very coddled treatment from the media. We get a ton of veiled hatred from them. We are held to standards that are just crazy...but again...thats the Jerry affect.
