Not listening to Colin, but on the subject Big Mike, I think he bolts to get more money based off him changing agents. Could he be in line for the Raiders job, and some have said da bears? Looks like MM has some leverage building, guess we'll see if it comes to fruition.

I think he entertains other offers before resigning here .

I don't care about his career. Let's look at what he's done in Dallas:
  • Not accomplished what he was hired for.

He’s done more for stability in Dallas really since any coach since 95. Some of that is because how far the franchise has fallen but until this year Mike has made the cowboys a consistent playoff team- obviously we want to make the championship game and win superbowls but you need to be there year in year out to check those boxes.

Collin as always goes with whatever is the current mood . He’s another troll like national noise just postering for clicks and ratings.

Bottomline is what better HC are we going to attract. Fans need to remember what he replaced .

In the end the best measurement is are we in a better place than when they took over .

Exactly. If it even gets that far of taking other offers. He wants to be here. Why? I don't know. They all want to coach and play here for a reason that can't be understood.

What better head coach are we going to get? In terms of resume very few would qualify from this era. Andy Reid isn't leaving Kansas City. Bill Belichick just left for college. There really isn't a proven upgrade left.

MM is doing the best with the situation and hand he has been dealt. He has no say in personnel, and probably none in his staff. If he is okay with this and Jerry ponies up, then MM will resign. If he is the type of coach who wants say in things, he bolts...at least that seems pretty simple logic

Maybe he likes his chances with Prescott. And feels he has an unfinished job here. Who knows. Sometimes there’s comfort in familiarity.

If I was him I’d run and hide as far away from Dallas as possible if I had a choice.

But in some ways it’s an easy gig here . Don’t have to address the press , don’t have to run the draft nor responsible for team building .

Jethro takes so much of the heat you can stay out of the spotlight and just coach within the meddling and limitations our chief idiot allows. Lol

I’d argue there’s some interesting prospects of up and coming Coordinaters who will ultimately land at other openings. But Dallas won’t be their first choice.

He has more input here in the draft than he ever had in Green Bay which was none. He's addressed this several times.

Disgruntled fans create this world where nobody wants to coach and play here. It's fantasy. They can't reference when this has ever happened.

Laughable.

Every single one of them would lose a limb to coach here.

That’s what he said . But I seriously doubt he has any control here. Was it more than at GB, who knows.

I do think Dallas is a player friendly franchise. But it’s not fable our ownership isn’t attracting the best HC prospects . And I doubt we are even pursuing them.

Could argue either side for him being a top 10 coach. I would say he is.

Three 12-5's in a row is no joke. Perhaps getting exposed in the playoffs tells you he (MM) was using smoke and mirrors to help accrue regular season win totals. Post season failures lies with those in the front office as much as the product on the sideline due to their failure to properly address team needs. This year with all the injuries, what could realistically be expected. In general, the team's effort right now is very commendable.

Mike should stay if afforded the opportunity. As the season has played out, public favor has swung heavily in his direction and and is getting further away from the Jones', particularly the more Jerry & Jr. talk. If MM could split the last two games, he'll emerge unscathed from the Jones field of landmines and look like a darn hero.
