I typically block out stuff the announcers have to say they are always gushing over something.

His analysis of what the Eagles "were doing to Micah Parsons" was total nonsense though. He kept talking about how they put him in a bind, only it wasn't the case, it was his teammates blowing their assignments that left him with a 2 on 1 on the back side of plays. No way is it his assignment to protect the backside and cover wide receivers and TEs who are coming in motion from the other side of the field.

It is a bit disappointing that Dan Quinn didn't have the secondary more prepared for all the motion they run, there was a ton of confusion and breakdowns, especially in the first half.

It was a shame LVE came to suck again. But he will again, and again, and again and was praised by horse teeth for his tackling skills.

Anyway, I'm not sure what people were listening to last night, but I thought CC was VERY complimentary of the Cowboys. Even went out of his way to say that we were in great shape with our starting QB coming back soon.

I don't think he's bias, he's just an idiot who makes every single play out to be the greatest thing he's ever seen. He over reacts and over blows every play, every player and every team in real time as he watches them.
For example, the naked screen to Pollard that Slay made the instant tackle on. Anyone who knows anything about football could tell the play had zero chance to succeed because Rush took waaayyyyy to long to get the ball over to Tony. Slay was about 5yds off the line and there wasn't a single player between him and Rush. He could see the entire play unfolding in super slow motion as Rush lazily stepped back and telegraphed his lobbed throw of 15yds to Tony. I'm 50 and out of shape but I could have made that play. Ol' Collinsworth makes it sound like Slay is an amazing player, who just made this incredible read and insane play on a great RB in the open field to save a game winning TD.

I was not offended by anything he said, Philly in the1st half played very good and Collingsworth complimented them had a lot of good things to say. I have seen him do the same with the Cowboys when we have played very well. These broadcast are not Cowboys broadcasting.

Announcers have to talk up everyone. Unless someone does something egregious they aren't going to slam them and even then they will almost always leave some wiggle room in their comments. What they say publicly isn't necessarily what they personally believe.

Collinsworth was correct most of the time.

But.....you give the Dallas QB time to throw, and a running game that moves the ball, and you saw, for a glimpse in the second half, that Dallas can play with the Eagles.

Unfortunately, the Eagles have one of the easiest schedules in this season. They do have a solid team. All the accolades and praise from Collinsworth was warranted.

However, if Dallas had a better QB in the second half, I would very much have liked to hear Collinsworth trounce on the Eagles for giving up the lead as Dallas came back to win.

Rush does not have the horsepower to make that so. I stated that last week when saying if he were to get in a shoot-out, he can do no more than post 17 points in a game.

When Dallas deserves it, Collinsworth praises them lavishly.
