****, throw the game and start a different quarterback, but at least wait another week to start Colt McCoy. Making him start against the Steelers is almost unfair for the kid.

Good God almighty that could get ugly in a hurry.

I'm not sure you could dream up a worse scenario to get your first NFL start:

ON THE ROAD,
AT PITTSBURGH
with a weak receiving core,
an injured line,
and with Peyton Hillis hurting...

against the best defense in the league who happens to be
coming off a bye week.
Wow.

RIP Colt...
The haters out there should love these odds.

if Colt can come out of this game in 1 piece.....and without any injuries.....it will be a successful first start for him.

Considering how heavily the odds are stacked against him....and you forgot to include the return of the Big Bad Wolf....Ben Raperburger. Yep, this game could be one of the biggest curbstompings of the year.

Talk about a rude introduction to the NFL...the Steelers are going to maul this guy. I actually feel sorry for him.

I was talking to Colt and he said he hopes your whole family has a career ending injury.

He hopes they injure their burger flipping arms?

Seriously though... why would anyone wish a career ending injury on anyone, especially on a young man who exemplifies teamwork, leadership, and character? We should all be so lucky as to have our kids turn out like he did.

How awesome funny would it be though if Colt, by some miracle, outplays Roofiesburger and the Browns win?

Seeing these matchups between the Browns and the Steelers makes me miss having the Cardinals in our division. It was always fun to get an easy division win twice a year.

Browns have been a surprise upset already. They also beat the Steelers last year.

Which was the first time since 2003. See what I mean? It'd be great to have a patsy like that in our division again.

Hey Colt,

Sam Bradford says nice start to your short NFL career so far...

sam bradford first nfl start

32-55 for 253 4.6 yard average 1 TD and 3 INTs against arizona

colt mccoy first nfl start

23-33 for 281 8.5 yard average 1 TD and 2 INTs against pitt

not saying colt will be better but he did better against a better team than bradford and his top 2 WR were knocked out by harrison during the game

oh and he has more rushing yards already than bradford on the year

not near as bad as I thought it would be, actually a hell of a lot better than I thought.
