Colts-Skins Game Thread

Definitely not. He was standing upright as he walked out of bounds. No TD.

rumph pushed him out, I'm not saying it's what was called, but it's what should have been called

I'm not saying it should have been ruled a TD, but did anyone else notice the Skins' defender's leg hit Harrison's left leg as it was coming down. That may be why he couldn't get it down.

He didn't push him enough to cause him to not get the foot down. His natural stride took him out of bounds.

The defender actually hit Harrison's foot as he was coming down. Still looked like he could have drug his foot.

Exactly. Harrison never made any attempt to drag the left foot in bounds before going out. Rumph wasn't even close enough to push him out of bounds anyway. Good replay, and good call by the refs...for once.

Ok, I am righted now. I had to put my hand on a hot stove burner to break the dementia. Go Colts although I hope Manning is turned into a sniveling debutante.

I hate a fade pattern. It takes too much precision to get it right.

I would love to see the stats on it's success rate. It's one of the most called and least successful plays on the goalline based on what I've seen.

I say it depends on the players involved. Recievers like Harrison and Santana aren't ideal for it. But, let's say you have Plaxico Burress covered by 5'9 cornerback, then your success rate sky rockets. If the QB throws it high and toward the back of the endzone, you end up with either a TD or a PI call.

In other football news...

It looks like Matt Hasselbeck sufferred a serious knee injury just now. He's on the sidelines right now with the 2nd stringer warming up. Might be an acl injury but won't know for sure.

Good point. Key was good at it.

Most of the time the QBs aren't accurate with it.

I wonder if Gibbs feels good about his defense now?

Swiss cheese baby!!
