i love colombo and thought we suffered with him out.

then i thought free stepped up.

now i'm glad we have to figure out what to do with TWO good players on the OL.

Yeah, I was mentioning that and was hoping for a replay to see what the deal was but the replay that they did show didn't have him in it....argh!

I don't know that he got "screwed" but I was kinda hoping he would have gotten into the game....that's why I started the thread entitled "Doug Free".

He got us to the dance by stepping in, but with Colombo back it's time for him to step out.

He did exactly what was expected of a backup, and showed us he's a future starter. That will be his reward.

I will say this. WITH Colombo, short yardage wasn't an issue. IT WAS with Free. I'm damn happy about that.

I ain't gonna lie...I was nervous about Columbo starting today. Didn't like the call but I'm glad it worked out. I really feel like writing a letter to Free thanking him and telling him I'm looking forward to watching him be big part of this team as we go forward.

I don't think that Free got screwed. I mean there is a reason by Columbo was the starter before he got hurt. He's the better player.
