The release date for “Kraven, the Hunter”, Synopsis & Cast Details
By Jenifer Carter | DC News
September 19, 2022

Sony has gotten itself into a bit of an odd spot with its Spider-Verse. Morbius, their most recent Marvel production, bombed at the box office and was blasted by reviewers and audiences alike, in contrast to their previous successes like the Venom movies and Spider-Man: No Way Home. They planned to release Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, as the next instalment in the Spider-Verse within a few months.

The original release date of January 13, 2023, has been postponed to October 6, 2023. It’s not surprising, considering how little we knew about Kraven before to its publication. Given the film’s impressive cast, the lack of a teaser trailer up until now was surprising. The film also stars Ariana DeBose (from West Side Story) as the antagonist Calypso, Fred Hechinger (from Fear Street) as Kraven’s brother and Spider-Man villain Chameleon, Russell Crowe (from Thor: Love and Thunder) as Kraven’s father, and Levi Miller (from The Lego Movie) as a younger Kraven. Kraven is one of the longest-running Spider-Man villains and has appeared in fan-favourite Spider-Man comic arcs like “Kraven’s Last Hunt,” but at this point, we know very little about the film’s premise.

Do you know everything about Daredevil? 10 Surprising Facts About This Marvel Urban Hero
By Ruetir
September 21, 2021

  • Because of the CCA he couldn’t sleep with the Black Widow

The romance between Black Widow and Daredevil became so popular that for a while the header of the comic starring Matt Murdock Happened to be called ‘Daredevil and the Black Widow’ in 1970. However, this relationship suffered some setbacks due to the submission of Marvel Comics before the seal Comics Code Authority, which dictated what could and could not be included in a comic in those days. One of its rules was that two characters who were a couple but were not married could not sleep in the same house, so these two heroes spent time sleeping in the same building but on different floors for no apparent reason. No relationship can top something like this…

Death Battle Brings Black Adam Vs Apocalypse To Bear To Showcase Destruction!
By Todd Black | Anime Superhero
September 20, 2022

Death Battle is here once again to continue the back half of their 9th season. They dealt some major damage in their last fight, but now, they’re about to get biblical. More or less. Because this time around it’s DC Comics versus Marvel once again as Black Adam Vs Apocalypse has come! And with their arrival they will shower the battleground with all sort of blood as they fight for their peoples.

The similarities for these two are honestly very plain and yet very intertwined. Both of them came from very humble beginnings and had to fight for their survival at a young age. Then, when they rose to power they were determined to ensure that their rule of law, their belief of “survival of the fittest” was the only way to live and survive in the world. They are also beings that possess the powers of gods. Black Adam via the Egyptian pantheon that he calls upon, and Apocalypse from the Celestials/Eternals, of whom he has gotten several key pieces of equipment from over the years.

You Wouldn’t Like Him When He’s Angry: ‘Hulk’ Star Leaves Syracuse Movie Set
By Will Phillips | WIBX
September 20, 2022

<snip>

The Hermit -- a horror movie that was to see Ferrigno play a cannibalistic pig farmer that makes "human jerky" -- has been plagued with a variety of issues, and production has been suspended.

Possibly the biggest controversary surrounding the stoppage has been disputes over pay. It was reported that one of the movie's major investors provided only a tenth of what was originally promised. Several crewmembers had reported not being paid at all, which led to a walkout.

After it became clear filming would not continue, Lou Ferrigno went home.

There had been much initial excitement over The Hermit, which was being filmed on a farm in South Onondaga. Ferrigno's involvement came with much fanfare, and even saw him named an honorary police officer by the Syracuse PD.

They're interesting villains, but not interesting enough for their own movies.

I’m on record in saying that I think that this is another recipe for failure like Morbius.

Ditto here

Whose cock-ko-manny idea was it to fully invest in a Kraven solo movie ?
they could not bring him in during the No way homes, far from home, etc. flicks and build him up accordingly ?

or at least bring him along in one of the

the vampire mania effect for Morbius combined with the usual huge Marvel fan base probably would have suggest at least an interest
but Kraven a mere mortal hunter to be given a solo movie ?

Morbius and Venom i could understand a chance at a solo ... but a mortal hunter ? ...

It is rare in comics seeing someone like Daredevil confront a monster like The Hulk and live to tell the tale. His tagline is the truth. He is The Man Without Fear.

Honestly, in a lot of those comics I think some people survive the Hulk because while the Hulk is a rage monster, deep down he doesn't really want to hurt them.

Like a Spider-man comic where the Avengers audition him by having him try to capture the Hulk alone. The Avengers straight up tried to murder Spider-man and have it look like an audition.

Spider-man beat the Hulk, but really it shouldn't have happened the way it did. Spider-man could avoid the Hulk but straight beat him at that stage in Spidey's career? Not buying it.

Spidey beat Firelord by not letting him touch him. He beat the Hulk by wrapping his legs around the Hulk's neck and choking him out. That means Spidey would be in range of the Hulk's hands. Game over. Daredevil wouldn't stand a chance of survival if Hulk wanted him dead.

That is EXACTLY the reason. Your Spidey vs Firelord and Spidey vs Hulk confrontations are excellent examples of a publisher taking a superhero's capabilities beyond his or her limits. The scenario is not that dissimilar from Batman holding his own versus Superman.

It is why a story like @quickccc suggested is pretty great. Daredevil is not expected to beat The Hulk. His billy club would be useless. Even Mjorlnir probably laughs at it. Murdoch does not have a skeleton laced with adamantium or unbreakable claws and cannot depend on a mutant healing factor.

Even so, his plan is luring Banner away from people, knowing he may sacrifice himself in the process. The strategy works for the most part at a high physical cost. It was only because a tiny part of Banner's empathy surfaced at the crucial moment before The Hulk administered the coup de grâce. The story is one of those "Kobayashi Maru" types where Marvel really shines at telling.

I would have expected Spidey to dangle Hulk from a bridge or something, attaching his webbing where Hulk couldn't reach it. Then just wait until he reverts back to Banner.
