So long as someone please tell me that they won't roll into Avengers: Kang Dynasty with that snoring, ultra boring Kang (ala Jonathan Majors) that Disney for whatever reason
tried to sell in the finale end of Loki season 1. ... Gaaaaawd !! ........
I really liked the Loki series all the way up until the introduction of Kang. I wasn't feeling the Kang thing either..........

That's something Netflix did very well, it felt very organic the way they introduced new characters and set them up for their own stories. I think that's the plan D+ has, DD gets some time in She-Hulk and Echo before he gets his own series and guessing that Castle gets integrated in DD before his show. D+ better keep the history of the Netflix shows.
I hope it does not take spring 2024 (slotted for Daredevil's new series) for Castle gets his shot (pun intended). Reviewing known Phase 5 movies and shows, I *think* it is safe to eliminate the following as a Castle cameo, who is primarily an Earth, non-time hopping, magic adverse based character:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 -- May. 5, 2023
The Marvels -- Jul. 28, 2023
Loki Season 2 -- Summer 2023
Agatha: Coven of Chaos -- Winter 2023

That leaves:

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania -- Feb. 17, 2023
Secret Invasion -- Spring 2023
Echo -- Summer 2023
Blade -- Nov. 3, 2023
Ironheart -- Fall 2023
Captain America: New World Order -- May 3, 2024

I believe it is a safe bet AATW is a scratch. No need to punish microscopic villains. IH is the next legacy of an Iron Man type story. Do not see Castle running in her circle or her needing his protection.

SI? That fits pretty well with his skill set, whether it is dealing with human or Skrull.

Echo
will likely delve on the dark side of criminal activity. I would say ditto but I also expect Murdoch to be the other main protagonist in her series.

That leaves The Daywalker and CA:NWO. Both fit extremely well in The Punisher's wheelhouse, even with the supernatural element attached to Blade. And I can easily see Frank wanting to establish his version of a 'new world order', even if it is only a piece of his.

I would love to see Bullseye and Elektra come back at some point too. :D
100% agree as long as Wilson Bethel reprises the role or another similar actor to him. I was not a big fan of Colin Farrell as Bullseye and hope there is less than zero chance of him wiggling into the MCU via his old role.

I hope they decide to bring back Luke Cage too, Mike Colter was perfectly cast for that role.
Sweet Christmas!:hammer:

And i would like to have a different looking, more wow looking Elektra while maintaining the Greek ethnicity look, instead of the Jennifer Gardner look.- closer to the Marvel Comics look.
boooooooooo! BOOOOOOOOO! Elodie Yung was perfect as Jinx in GI Joe: Retribution and Elektra in Daredevil. We are on opposite sides of a Two-Face coin on that opinion. :)

James Gunn Says 'Peacemaker' Is Safe, Amid HBO Max Cancellations
By Jennifer Bisset | CNET
August 3, 2022

James Gunn has provided a reassuring tweet for fans of his DC superhero series Peacemaker, after HBO Max canceled production of the upcoming Batgirl movie, based on another DC Comics character.

"Yes, guys, calm down," Gunn tweeted in response to a question about whether Peacemaker, season 2, is still happening.

Greenlit in 2021, Batgirl was set to star Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, with Ms. Marvel filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directing. Warner Bros. greenlit the flick as "part of a company-wide effort at Warner Bros. to create feature films specifically for HBO Max," according to Variety.

However, Variety confirmed on Tuesday Batgirl will not premiere theatrically or on HBO Max. Scoob!: Holiday Haunt, a follow-up to 2020 animated movie Scoob!, was also axed.

Best show ever! How can anyone even consider this not coming back for another season.

I would say probably "Echo" a very small role or cameo, outside chance at "Blade", but don't see much of a chance in a Cap movie.

And that would be a NO to Colin Farrell, Bethel was a much better as Bullseye. A little Daredevil/Black Widow interaction could be interesting, but guessing unlikely at this point.

And how awesome was this scene.......:lmao:

A good friend talked me into watching the series. I was completely meh about it until the 'helmet x-ray scene' at the end of the fifth episode. The show got my vote afterwards.

One year hit wonder shows have been known to be kyboshed before.. ala DC's Swamp Thing and Netflix's First Kill ..and it doesn't have to do with viewership ratings either.
And i always tend to use that ole excuse ... " Budget cost cuts and lack of funding release "

Iron Fist was OK, the stories were good, for me, the actor and character were not quite right. I liked the casting of Elektra, thought she did a good job and infinitely better than that horrible Garner casting and I generally like Jennifer Garner. I might be open to a re-casting of Elektra, but it would have to be just right.

Outside of Iron Fist, I hope all the actors of the Netflix shows, even minor ones get re-cast into the same roles. That's another thing Netflix did exceptionally well outside of Danny Rand.

I'll miss the" Chi " glowing Iron Fist graphic effect. That was cool .

Perhaps as a flashback appearance. Otherwise, I would not expect to see Natasha unless she was a ghost. :p

ah yes, .. Maybe a Pre-End Game Black Widow perhaps ? .
Some splash back looks at her career in espionage, spy-game, assassin Natasha before she eventually became an Avenger member ?

After all they made her own full length Black Widow film ..and that most definitely had to be a pre-Avengers- End Game Natasha ?

Makes me nervous for Season 3 of Pennyworth, filming is wrapped and scheduled to release this fall, but never heard a specific date. I've looked and haven't found any info since the all the HBOMax bombshells, so I'm hoping "No news is good news". I would be very upset if they cancel Season 3, that kinda thing is how super-villains get created.....

Marvel: 10 Characters Who Have Died A Surprising Amount Of Times
By Brad Ferguson
Published Oct 04, 2021

Comic book characters generally don't die all that often but these heroes and villains have certainly bucked that trend.

Superheroes naturally protect the world against extraordinary threats and constantly risk their lives as a result. However, comic book fans know that death doesn't really mean much and that the dead almost never stay dead. Apart from a few select characters where death has remained permanent, such as Uncle Ben and Mar-Vell, characters who die almost always come back.

No assumptions are needed. Chronologically, Black Widow falls between Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was six movies before Avengers: Endgame on the timeline.

Digressing a bit, this is my biggest pet peeve about the MCU's Phases 1 through 3. The three movies released to theaters preceding Avengers: Infinity War were Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther. What Disney/Marvel should have done was produced and released Black Widow between S:H and T:R in my opinion. Instead, audiences got a flashback Natasha Romanoff. Still does not compute for me but whatever.

It would be interesting to see Romanoff and Murdoch mix it up as combatants or team up to solve some problem. Knowing Natasha, she would have quickly deduced Matt was blind. That would have made it even more interesting. :)

It would still be cool to see since she was a big part of his history. They could always use one of them Multiverses....... :p
