Anyone finish the season of Lanterns? Weird tempo, it's like a bell curve of excitement. Builds up all the way to the middle episode for the large battle, then it takes a U-Turn and suddenly starts another mystery, although this one never really ramps up until the end. It sort of redeems Hal Jordan's character, and finally get to see John Stewart flying and in action. Almost reminds me of the moment that Keanu Reeves takes off in The Matrix. Everything building up to that moment that he shows the true power. I don't feel like this is a spoiler, because it's so much a mainstay of the Green Lantern universe, but it does hint at Sinestro and the yellow Lanterns. Maybe next season? I still think the guy who plays Sinestro was too old for the part. Maybe it's just me, but I did feel like it shows the jerkarse side of Guy Gardner better than anything else he has been in such as Superman or Peacemaker. Stewarts makes him feel like a punk!

7 Superhero Teams Better Than The Avengers, Ranked

By Maxwell Pishny | CBR
October 8, 2026

The Avengers have been Marvel's premiere superhero team for at least the last decade, and that's thanks in large part to the major success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In live-action, Earth's Mightiest Heroes have been at the front line of just about every major confrontation against the forces of evil, and it's made them incredibly popular.

However, even though the Avengers are utterly iconic, there are so many other superhero teams that deserve the spotlight just as much, if not more. These 7 teams, in particular, stand as ultimately superior groups to the Avengers, and, even though they aren't the faces of a live-action franchise as vast as the MCU, they deserve even more love than the Earth's Mightiest Heroes... ___________

His list:

7. Legion of Super Heroes
6. The Ultimates
5. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. The Doom Patrol
3. The Fantastic Four
2. The Justice League
1. The X-Men

I would elevate Titans into his list as a DC replacement for the Legion. The Legion's strongest asset is numbers. They are a freaking army.

The Ultimates at #6? Please. Lower than #3 is insulting.

With all due respect, HOW is the DP not at the bottom of this list?

I would slot the FF at four ahead of the Guardians.

At one time, the Justice League had more than one group. Maybe there are still multiple groups, but I am not certain. Whether or not that is true, the Justice League is pretty much analogous with one superhero group.

The said is not true for the mutants. Uncanny X-Men. X-Force. X-Factor. Heck. eXcalibur. These are all distinctive mutant superhero groups. Even factoring in Superman and Thor/Hulk, I would rank Uncanny over Justice League and The Ultimates, respectively. Shoot. Maybe X-Force too.
