Commanders fans, keeping it classy as usual

Would you argue with a geocentric flat-earth theorist? Same deal.

tr1 and others there may be a constant source of amusement for me, but they also demonstrate all the critical thinking abilities of a brick and there is really no use to arguing with that sort of mentality.

So you come over here and run your mouth?

Weak man.

Sign up with the same user name over there and get it going. Or do what I do here with people I have no interest in, ignore, and comment accordingly.

I don't really appreciate whiny childish "I'm telling" posters

What you appreciate or don't is irrelevant to me, come a week from now you'll either be gone (most likely) or you'll hang around to gloat for a bit. Either way the Commanders will still be the whipping boys of the NFC East until they can prove otherwise across a few seasons.

Of course you probably won't see any of this since you've already taken your ball and gone home.

At least some of us have the balls to sack up, have an opinion, and post it, instead of lurking and running back to safe ground and gossiping like a 13-year old girl.

Posters like myself, SHF, and Califan have been here for years...even during the horrid Jim Zorn debacle. Don't come here pointing fingers at us when you don't have the gumption to take a stand in enemy territory.

Like SHF said: follow the rules of the place, realize you are a guest, sack up and get in it. Or keep your mouth shut.

You are just full of fail in this thread.

Best idea for you is probably to not post again

How long have you been obsessed with the Cowboys again?

FYI, SkinsHokieFan and Sonny have been here for quite some time and come back often.

I like to argue and bash Sonny. He is a Skins fan so that is what you are supposed to do, but he is pretty even with his views. He doesn't come here to just to talk ****. Like any great football fan, he likes to debate.

I used to visit ES, but it got to the point that I couldn't discuss anything with anyone cause it seemed like it was 10 to 1 bashers to people who were actually interested in debating a subject. I can deal with bashers, just not with terrible ratio of them.

:lmao2:

Football talk. Thats why I show up here. I don't associate myself with the minions of DC area Cowboy fans who couldn't tell you who Staubach was.

I don't go crying like a little girl to my home board when someone on CZ says something I don't like. Thats the premise of this entire thread, a whole bunch of crying

I think it was just Commander troll bait ......and it succeeded.

My thoughts exactly -- and that's why the ignore feature is so helpful here. It helps weed out the nitwits who never add anything to the discussion other than pointless swipes like "How long have you been obsessed with the Cowboys?"

:hammer: ...Despise is a good word:star:

The word I like is ambivalent! (meaning I could care less either way about their fans.....sorta like the way I feel about my two ex-wives!)

Well you wont ever find me on the Skins boards, or any other teams boards for that matter, except when I go to the ESPN message boards to ask a certain team's fanbase about a certain player of interest.

I have been to extremeskins and got banned twice for speaking my views and opinions. I was not being vulgar or verbally abusive, and still got banned. Basically, they were banning any Cowboys fans that were posting, just because they were Cowboys fans. So i just never went back. I have no use for a childish board, and ES is ran by childish mods.

I stay away from the ESPN boards for the most part because they are nothing but trolls...still, when I have a question about a former Longhorn player, I go to the team he is on, and I ask the question. Sometimes I get a response, sometimes I do not.

I do remember one time I got banned by ESPN for using the word muff. I was in a thread discussing the difference between a fumble and a muff. Apparently the ESPN filter just took the word without the context and I got banned. I even emailed the ESPN mods about the context of my post, but the ban remained.

So I dont care if you are over here, or how long you have been here. It is your perogative to be here. Dont act like you are better than other posters because you come to our site and discuss our team and your team, while other posters just read and run. That is also their perogative. To each his/her own. As long as you are abiding by the rules of the site, that is all that matters.

BTW, I can promise you this much...this site has been far more welcoming of you Skins fans than ES has ever been to Cowboys fans. Also, remember how respectful and supportive we were after the Sean Taylor incident....can you say that ES would have been as supportive to us had the shoe been on the other foot? I say no. I say a huge majority would have been highly inappropriate, disrespectful, and classless. It would have been a verbal lynch mob.

You hate us and we hate you.....but the hate is for different reasons. We hate you because of everything your team stood for when we were founded, how you tried to block our startup, how your owner was a huge bigot, how your name is racist and you guys accept it as status quo. You hate us because we the most popular franchise in the world and one of the 4 most successful organizations in the league since 1960....along with the Steelers, Niners, and Packers. You hate that we have had far more success than you.

There will be no excuses come Tuesday...if we win, we win. If we lose, we lose. I don't care if we are limping into the game on crutches, in a wheel chair, or on life support. We are playing Napolean's Army.....and we must conquer you evil racial slurs.

BTW, it makes me want to puke knowing Orakpo has to wear your putrid colors. You guys don't deserve Orakpo. But not even the great Orakpo can make your colors look good....honestly only your gorgeous cheerleaders can.

Washington 17

Well said Biggems! This is really the root of it all. The Sk*ns hate us mainly out of jealousy. It must be hard to have had to stand in our shadow for the past 50 years.

Wow, I love how just in case you forget what everyoens talking about they have the title of the thread on every post in the same colour and font as the post. So you have to burn a few more calories trying to find the post.

Extremeskins has gone downhill. The mods talk a lot of trash to the regular posters. There are more and more one liner posts (I saw TK contest a reasoned two paragraph argument with "only if you play Madden"). Not sure what the deal is, but place is going downhill. that said, it is still the biggest team forum and has a lot of news. Just huge signal to noise problem and a kind of swaggering "Internet bravery" that is bad news. Lot of good posters have left there. I hope some of the leadership wises up. It is not just ruffians and misbehavers who think the place is becoming bad.

I find myself on Hogs Haven more and more. Great posts by UKSkinsfan doing analyses of plays (ES has some of that at times, but really...signal to noise is a major issue). REally like they way HH has a headpost that is blog like and then more calmness in the discussions (And much easier to scan and scroll over the replies). They also do "exchange posts" to allow asking opposing fans about the team we are playing. Kind of a cool feature.

I think Romo is kind of cute (and damned slippery in the pocket). And he is clearly a top half starter. That said, he is not "elite" (Brady like). And never will be. And it irks me to hear people on ESPN asking if he can be or just assuming that Dallas somehow deserves to always have Staubach like competence.

I bet the majority of people on ExtremeSkins (which sounds like a gay-porn website), are on dial-up. :lmao:
