I really...REALLY hate to agree with a Commander fan.
But on this I do.
Then make a case for Bradshaw being in the HOF, with a career QB rating of 70.9, a career completion percentage of 51.9, a career average of 166.7 yards per game passing, and a TDs to ints ratio of 212-210...
This year, a QBR of 70.9 would have ranked that QB 28th in the league... a completion percentage of 51.9 would rank that QB 34th... and that's what Bradshaw did for his CAREER...
Terry got lucky in that he played for a great team, where he just had to be the "bus driver"...
As for Elway, take a look at his first ten seasons in the league:
Attempts-- 4339
Completions-- 2375
Completion Percentage-- 54.7%
Yards-- 30,216 (3022 yards per season)
TDs-- 158
Ints-- 157
Rating-- 73.8...
If he'd called it a career after that, absolutely nobody would be calling him a Hall of Famer... it's what he did those next six years that makes his claim to the HOF legit:
Attempts-- 2911
Completions-- 1748
Completion Percentage-- 60.0
Yards-- 21,259 (3543 yards per season)
TDs-- 142
Ints-- 69 (nearly 2 TDs for every int thrown)
Rating-- 88.9...
I was actually surprised to find out how very bad Bradshaw's career stats were...
