Just thank God I have to stick to the tame stuff in here...
I suspect Hos would be capable of a higher level of malevolence but for the rules in here, too... he would have been REAL popular back in the glory days of the Cowboys' newsgroup... we had an assortment of true flame warriors over there, we absolutely brutalized some trolls...
We had one who was actually a Cowboys fan, but a troll nonetheless, and a student of Norm Crosby, the king of the malapropism... one of the other regulars with whom he was arguing happened to mention he was from Tennessee, and the troll decided to mock him by talking about the suicide rates in Tennessee, which he'd apparently read somewhere was quite high... only he talked about the "suicide rats"...
Whereupon I created the Brotherhood of the Suicide Rats, wherein each member took one of the troll's malapropisms as his club name... I was Brother Quiji, after a reference to somebody using a "quiji board" for his predictions; another was Brother Hanus, after a reference to how "hanous" we were for pickin' on him...
Brother Hanous was the one who came up with the killer bit for that particular flame war... he made up the Ballad of the Suicide Rats, to be sung to the old title song of the movie "The Ballad of the Green Berets"... I can't remember all of it, but it was howlingly funny... I do remember the first two lines (try to remember the song from the movie here):
Rodents plummet from the sky
They hit the ground, but they don't die...
After the success of that bit, Brother Hanus declared himself the programming director for radio station KTRL ("Playin' the hits for troll pieces of... well, you get the idea")... one other troll made a nonsensical post about marrying a "Mongolian pygmy", Brother Hanus dedicated the following song to him:
It's Mighty Big O' Me (To Marry a Pygmy)
I miss those glory days... sadly, the 2000 election pretty much ruined it... never has been the same since then, lots of the regulars (including me) moved on... I think the best thing about that board is that it was totally unmoderated, literally anything was fair game in there... we policed ourselves, by "ganging up" on folks who went too far...
