Seems like the delusions are less with Cowboys fans than with Skins fans. I mean, Im not walking around like we've done anything in the last 10 years.

Most of us are exicited about our team next year, but we're damn sure that our Defense can't have a monumental collapse again. I think Wade will change things, but until I see it, I'm not going to run around telling everyone how amazing this team is

Apparently, they think 2 playoff appearances in 8 years is good...

Why are you talking to your brother and avoiding me? Afraid that a few more spankings are going to break your spine?

Well, let's test that theory. Your team was founded in 1932. Your overall post season record is 23-16.

Our franchise was founded in 1960. Our overall post season record is 32-22.

That means that with a 28 year head start you are still 9 wins behind us in the post season.

Well, look at it this way, Hos-- if we don't win another playoff game for a long, long time, at the Skins' current pace of two playoff wins every 8 years, it will take them 36 years to catch up to our total!!!

ROTFLMAO...

You got us there. How about Cowboys vs Commanders overall?

Cowboys (1999-2006) -> 57-71, 0-3 playoffs
Commanders (1999-2006) -> 59-69, 2-2 playoffs

Maybe Jerry's lost his magic?

Or maybe Jerry had to pay the price for those 3 Super Bowl wins, by spending a couple-three years in cap hell... I've already outlined how in the last FOUR years, the Boys are 34-30, with two playoff appearances and three seasons over .500, the Skins are 26-38, with one playoff appearance and one season over .500...

Me, I'll happily suffer through a couple-three years of cap hell, if I get 3 Lombardi Trophies first...

Hostile im not avoiding you my man, great stats you bring up..im just bringing up playoff stats since synder took over compare to your owner, because folks like you and many others like to dogg my owner and his moves he makes..but if you really look at it,in his tenure he has done better in terms of trying to reach the superbowl than jerry..he has 2 wins that puts him closer..
d

The Skins went 5-11 last year, the Cowboys went 9-7, and you think the Skins are "closer"??

Must be Commanders Logic...

What's the big deal in owning a theme park, when you're not tall enough to go on any of the rides??

Come on, SilverBear! That's a low blow! The lil guy gets to go into the petting zoo at least...there he can pet the sheep and chickens to remind him of his fans...

The Pats are past their 3 SB's and they're the opposite of cap hell. They spent more then anyone this offseason.

I wondered what that clanking noise was...

Personally, mine are just flesh... but they are rather larger than the norm, I think... not having done any real research on the topic, you understand this is an entirely subjective opinion...

Even if I hit Danny Boy on the top of his head, it would still be a low blow, wouldn't it??

This IS just a vicious rumor, but I'm told they had to ban him from the sheep, after a rather unfortunate incident was caught on tape... seems Danny Boy had just finished watching Woody Allen's "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex", and it gave him some ideas...

Which only proves there's more than one way to get 3 Super Bowls... like I said, if the tradeoff is a brief stint in cap hell, I'll still take the Super Bowls...

You would too, and you know it...

Wasn't that the time when the Cowboys were sweeping the skins every year?

The skins are pathetic and lil Danny has a lot to learn.:star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Cowboys
1990 7-9 we sucked
1991 11-5 Playoff team
1992 13-3 Superbowl
1993 12-4 Superbowl
1994 12-4 Playoff team
1995 12-4 Superbowl
1996 10-6 Playoff team
1997 6-10 we sucked Desperation sets in
1998 10-6 Playoff team Desperation
1999 8-8 Playoff team Desperation
Falls apart

Patriots
2000 5-11 they sucked
2001 11-5 Superbowl champs
2002 9-7 they sucked
2003 14-2 Superbowl champs
2004 14-2 Superbowl champs
2005 10-6 Playoff team
2006 12-4 Playoff team
Desperation sits in

They will be in cap trouble in a few years if this keeps up ..... unless they have no loyalty to their aging great players ..... which is what got us in trouble to begin with.

No, the only fair way to compare them is 8 years to 8 years. There is no doubt at all that Snyder bought a better team than Jerry did. None at all. In 1998 the Commanders were 6-10. In 1988 the Cowboys were 3-13.

Snyder's Commanders...8 years.

1999...10-6, 1-1 post season.
2000...8-8
2001...8-8
2002...7-9
2003...5-11
2004...6-10
2005...10-6, 1-1
2006...5-11

In those 8 years you've had 2 coaches who will be in the NFL Hall of Fame. 59-69, 2-2 in the post season. Those are your Owner's first 8 years.

Jones' Cowboys...first 8 years.

1989...1-15
1990...7-9
1991...11-5, 1-1
1992...13-3, 3-0 World Champions
1993...12-4, 3-0 World Champions
1994...12-4, 1-1
1995...12-4, 3-0 World Champions
1996...10-6, 1-1

In those first 8 years Jerry had no Hall of Fame coaches. 74-50, 12-3 in the post season and 3 Super Bowl Championships.

How are they head to head you ask? I'm glad you asked.

1999...Jerry 2, Danny 0
2000...Jerry 2, Danny 0
2001...Jerry 2, Danny 0
2002...Jerry 1, Danny 1
2003...Jerry 2, Danny 0
2004...Jerry 2, Danny 0
2005...Jerry 0, Danny 2
2006...Jerry 1, Danny 1

Head to head Jerry 12, Danny 4.

Stand in our shadow and shiver from the cold boy.

I 'bout to lost it the first time I saw that sheep in the garter belt... that may be the only Woody Allen movie I ever found funny (though there were skits in that one that left me cold, some of them destroyed me)...

No, Joey Galloway is too good for you guys. You'd rather throw away your picks on trash like TJ Duckett and Brandon Lloyd.
