Commanders front office woes

Seems like the delusions are less with Cowboys fans than with Skins fans. I mean, Im not walking around like we've done anything in the last 10 years.

Most of us are exicited about our team next year, but we're damn sure that our Defense can't have a monumental collapse again. I think Wade will change things, but until I see it, I'm not going to run around telling everyone how amazing this team is

Apparently, they think 2 playoff appearances in 8 years is good...

Well, let's test that theory. Your team was founded in 1932. Your overall post season record is 23-16.

Our franchise was founded in 1960. Our overall post season record is 32-22.

That means that with a 28 year head start you are still 9 wins behind us in the post season.

Well, look at it this way, Hos-- if we don't win another playoff game for a long, long time, at the Skins' current pace of two playoff wins every 8 years, it will take them 36 years to catch up to our total!!!

Or maybe Jerry had to pay the price for those 3 Super Bowl wins, by spending a couple-three years in cap hell... I've already outlined how in the last FOUR years, the Boys are 34-30, with two playoff appearances and three seasons over .500, the Skins are 26-38, with one playoff appearance and one season over .500...

Me, I'll happily suffer through a couple-three years of cap hell, if I get 3 Lombardi Trophies first...

No, the only fair way to compare them is 8 years to 8 years. There is no doubt at all that Snyder bought a better team than Jerry did. None at all. In 1998 the Commanders were 6-10. In 1988 the Cowboys were 3-13.
