Commanders kicker and DCC

They should have done to him what Roy Williams did to Bryan Barker:

I was looking for that for the lookalike thread... I know I shouldn't, because that was actually a pretty serious injury, but it makes me laugh every time I see it.

What happened there I do not remember that.

I may be mistaken but I believe there is plenty of time available for kicking before and after the routine. He could also have moved the ball to the side. It is the Dallas Cowboy stadium and that routine has been going on during that time for years.

And it goes on at every stadium that has cheerleaders. I don't believe that Gano was shocked that there was pregame entertainment. It was personal and disdainful. I'm glad the OP posted that vid. It's nice to know who the league's ******bags are.

IIRC, we blocked a FG and in the scramble (Barker was the holder), Roy's knee hit him right in the facemask and, obviously, scrambled his nose.

Broken noses are fairly common and usually not that big a deal, but I remember the doctors saying this one was so severe and there was so much bleeding that it was actually kind of serious.

Just something about that look on his face cracks me up. :)

I am pretty sure if that was our Kicker and their cheerleaders it would be all over the news.

Don't know about Bailey but it never would have happened with Buehler. He would have been in the middle of them asking for phone numbers instead of warming up.

They don't have any respect for our franchise. That's fine. That's why we own them.

Combination of blocked field goal and Barker having an open "Joe Theisman" type face mask:

I think that ended Barker's season.

The only reason it looks funny, is that it gives him the "Pig Man" effect... that, and he's a Redsk*n.

If he is supposed to be allowed to use the field, the cheerleaders were in the wrong for interfering with him (would say this even if they were not so close and he just had to kick over them without running in).

If Gano is not supposed to be allowed to use the field, then he was in the wrong for running into their formation and moving the pompoms and kicking so close to them.

Seems simple to figure out. Maybe after the league is finished with investigating snapgate, they can move on to pu...snappergate. :)

were is larry allen when you need him most.:bang2:

Gano lucky bueler wasn't playing. He would of kicked Gano in the stands.:laugh2:

Based on your logic, he was wrong because the pregame entertainment takes place at the same time every game, whether it's cheerleaders or a marching band or whatever. He could've used a different part of the field at that moment. Besides, players are out there hours before kickoff warming up, including kickers. It was blatantly disrespectful, like he has no home training or something.

Are there really this many people who don't realize the Cheerleaders are there before every home game?

the real question is why didn't anyone do anything about it? Were was jerry when this was going on? That wasn't very safe for the cheerleaders and it was real disrespectful.

If it was not warm up time, why were our guys out there too?
They were staying out of the DCCs' way. Nothing wrong with that. I don't mind getting in extra reps, but it's not like this guy hadn't had time to warm up on his kickoffs. He didn't have to do that at that time.

Let's face it, their routine was all of 5 minutes. He was out there for about 3. He couldn't take three minutes right after they were done, or an extra three minutes before? It's clear what his intent was.

In the words of the great Duane Thomas, Evidently.

I just wish one of the cheerleaders would have high kicked him in the nuts.

I'm really surprised that Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell weren't out there chasing him down and chewing him out.

It was a ****** move, he could have easily moved to the side. The fact of the matter is he wanted to be a ***** to them and be disrespectful, the Lower Potomac Indiginous People were doing that all night. Makes it even sweeter they walked away with a big fat L.

I don't blame the kicker as much as I do whoever organizes this stuff. The cheerleaders should not be out on the field when the players are trying to warm up, period! That seems like a pretty simple bit of common sense to me.

I'll go this direction. Players have specific warm up times. They have to practice specific ball placement. If our LS was just working on that - he can do it from anywhere on the field. To a punter maybe not if they are going area specific to FG tries.
The Cheerleaders can move 5 yards forward.

And if the kicker slips on a pom pom - goodbye cheerleaders.

The players specific warm up times have never interfered with the cheerleaders specific performance times before as far as I know.

Did you even look at the video? The Cheerleaders have a specific time to do their dance routines. The Cheerleaders were in the middle of a choregraphed routine they couldn't move 5 yards out of the way they had to do exactly what they were trained to do or else someone would get hurt which almost happened when the stupid kicker was getting in the way. The routine lasted about 5 minutes at most so the kicker could have waited. The players also have several hours before the game and can warm up at their discretion, there's no specific time for them.
