Shanahan could also end up losing his job. Skins made a big investment on RGIII so if they bench him Shanahan better be right.

Shanahan said that before he even thinks about benching RGKnee, that he will talk to the Midget first.

Where oh where have all the Skins fans that trolled this site last season been? Constant posts about the great RG-Me running his offense that was unstoppable and the wave of the future. Constant pleas to the contrary when many here posted about his imminent coming collapse and the fraudulent gimicky system that wouldnt survive.

Why had he better be right? He is going to get fired and he is going to get paid, which is exactly what he wants. He is not trying to salvage this season. C'mon man!

Because I don't think it is a sure thing he will be fired. Better than 50/50 yes but a strong finish to the season and I could see the skins staying with him another year.

Right...the elite Eli? Oh how the great one as shown his true colors without a defense behind him.

And, Oh how the future QB play in football, RGKnee, might be picking splinters out of his butt since his team has not helped him.

But, the QB touches the football on every play! He is the most important person on the field! If that is true, then why are those two QB's stuck in the cellar?

BECAUSE IT IS A TEAM SPORT! (except when it comes to the QB of the Cowboys...of course)

10-45 is a good start to a strong finish. From my perspective, it is a strong start to a good finish. :D

Beating Dallas could be a job saver but if cousins can run the table then I think there is a chance Shanahan could save his job and give Snyder the feeling that this was just a down season after coming off a playoff season.

You seem to believe that Shanahan wants to save his job. No, this is his final "f you" to that Napoleonic owner and his prodigy, RGIII.

It is over for Shanahan, bro. That little rift with thinking about quitting last season has come into play this season. It is over for him.

I wish he would stay, because of the dis-function in DC, but his job there is done.

I think he has pride in what he does and yes I think any HC wants to win and not be fired.

I can see that. But, imagine the mess they then have, if Cousins lights it up. Haslett is history even if Shanahan isn't. I think it is about options for Snyder. If not Shanahan, who? And, does Snyder think more of RGIII than he does of Shanahan? I think Art Briles could have the Commander coaching job just by asking for it. That reunification would sell tickets.

I think a head coach with Shanahan's ego (and guaranteed contract) wants to win...on his terms. He is certainly not going to stick around when some punk 2nd year QB is questioning his coaching.

and it goes to my point that if Cousins can come in and make his offense tick then Snyder will see that Shanahan was right, if production is no better and they are still losing after making the switch then he is gone. As for RGIII if he loses the job then look for the skins to move him and yes there will be teams and HC who will feel as if he is worth taking a chance on.

See, this is the thing. And from what I have read, Shanahan was not really on board for giving all those draft picks up for RGKnee in the first place. And, then RGKnee comes out in a presser saying that "things can and need to be changed, but are not being changed"....?

Shanahan and his son are packing as we speak. I would bet my next born on that, If I would not have already had a vasectomy.

Bro,, Cousins is not coming in and reviving this team. The Commanders have already quit on this season.

Trade for RG3 if they keep Shanahan as coach. This nut may move him for a 2nd rounder.
