He is going to make money either way but men with pride do not like to fail they do not relies getting fired. Shanahan is not hoping to lose his job. As for Cousins I think when you make a move like this it better be right if he hopes to keep his job. RGIII will fetch a good return if skins want to move him. many will claim the poor season because of the injury and to an extent they are right, young QB's can't afford to miss the OTA, the training camps and pre season. RGIII was not ready to go and it showed.

Disagree with Griffin's value. I think Washington would be unbelievably fortunate to get a 2nd Rd draft pick. In fact I think he may only fetch a Rd.3 selection, and it wouldn't be from me. He's a compromised athlete that can't read a defense. He has a long, long way to go to being an upper-mid tier QB- which is is his upside if he's willing to work for that.

Through all this I get the sense that RG3 isn't a very well-liked player in the room. Shanny knows and realizes the production isn't making up for it. Unfortunately one of the few in RG3's corner is the guy running the show and printing money from selling him. Shanny feels he can't successfully coach this squad with RG3 at the helm, Snyder isn't willing to take the financial hit of sitting his cash cow. RG3 continues to be the apple of the public's eye while having no one on the team wanting him for Secret Santa.

My guess is the benching thing is to create a public stir with Snyder in hopes of Snyder going ahead in firing him. It won't work. Snyder will not fire his HC and OC at this point. My guess is MS and KS are gone in the offseason. It doesn't make sense to fire them both and someone else being their philosophy with only a few games left.

I'd rather face RG3 than Cousins at this point in time. Cousins is pretty good while RG3's confidence is all but gone.

Cousin's has a lot to play for, I can see this guy balling his heart out to cause some QB controversy going into the offseason. I'd rather play RG3 since he is struggling....
