Commanders QB situation is a JOKE

JUst no way that Brunnell will play a full season. Just how often has he?
One GOOD hit and he is gone.

Um a hit helmut hit to the knee would send any QB down.
The weakest part on your body is your joints bud. Try taking a hard helmut hit to the knee and find out for yourself.

If you ever play football you know that you need that knee to throw accurately and far.

Um.... I dont think collins was bring in to teach Campbell at all. Didnt you hear? Ramsey was out of town. So they bring in a 3rd QB. And since we aquire Al saunders why not bring in Collins? Who knows Al saunder and his system? And since Collins know his system why not use him to help Campbell and Brunell learn a system too? Two head is better then one.

Please take off the silver and blue glasses your logic dont make sense
................All I know is this......If after preseason ,Campbell is number 3 on the depthchart, you guys are in BIG TROUBLE. Should be fun to watch all the squeeling and gnashing of teeth over at extremehomers. Heck, its ALREADY starting...:lmao:

Trully, the cowboys are in better shape than the skins' in the QB position. Not by much tho'. the only diff. is that Bledsoe I think IS capable of staying healthy and play out 2 years in a row. Brunnel?..Not Likely. Other than that, niether team knows JACK ABOUT our Backups! lmao.

Ding Ding Ding

I mean to laugh at their backup QBs and then turn around and say our is superior is kind of out there IMO.

We have no proven backups on our team. They have one that is proven he can't play and another one that has proved nothing.

Depth
1. Garcia & Detmer
2. Hasselback & Johnson
3. Campbell & Collins
4. Romo & Henson

Campbell & Collins are better than Romo and Henson based on what?

That list is mainly based on experience and draft position. There aren't many other "knowns" to make such a list out of. Collins has a lot of experience and Campbell is a 1st round pick. We have a 3rd round pick, an undrafted guy, and a total of 1/2 game experience.

I'm a Dallas fan, just not the homer type.

Carson Palmer would be a good example of that happening to a younger player.

Then your number 2 QB has bust written all over him, and your own board up in arms about his accuracy.

How can someone who has yet to take a snap have bust written all over him?

i love it when i see people on this board arguing about how the Commanders suck, and then i go to ES where people are arguing about how the cowboys suck.

that's what a rivalry will do to you i suppose.

by the way, both of our back-up situations are bad. dallas, you guys have nothing to back you up, point blank. and the skins have nothing proven to back them up. so we're both SOL if our QBs go down. and stop all this nonsense about brunell going down easily. if i remember correctly, brunell didn't go down easily last season (don't you dare say that hit he took in NY was a small hit) and he made some nice runs on his "bad legs" too. bledsoe can take your team far as long as he's got protection too. so our starters are really good, our back-ups aren't. let's just leave it at that.

^^^he's right....both boards have "team X sucks @ QB " threads up right now....

I find this funny because if Brunell and Bledsoe BOTH went down in the preseason both teams would be in trouble.......the skins will have the upper hand against dallas but Philthy or the Jints would run away with the division......

I am curius though what makes everyone here so sure that Mark is gonna get hurt but the statue is going to simply withstand the hits?.......You do realize that Mark is only a year and a half older right?......once you pass 30 in the nfl everyone says....oh he'll never last....blah blah......

Little to do with age, more to do with injury history. Bledsoe missed exactly three games in his career if you don't take into account the hit from Mo Lewis in 2001 where he was bleeding internally in his chest.

http://espn.go.com/talent/danpatrick/s/2001/1020/1266760.html
When Jets linebacker Mo Lewis hit Bledsoe in Week 2 of this NFL season, Bledsoe suffered internal injuries that caused him to lose two liters of blood. If he had not been diagnosed properly on the sideline, he might have died. That can make even the toughest guy stop and think. Which I'm sure Bledsoe did.

We all know what happened that year. But remember 1998, the last five games of the year, Bledsoe played with seven pins in his broken index finger on his throwing hand, and led the Pats to a 4-1 record to get into the Playoffs.

We all know the injury history of Brunell, played 12 games over the 2003 and 2004 seasons. It all depends on whether last season was a fluke or not. Knock on wood, but Bledsoe seems to rarely get injured.

touche.....Bledsoe does seem like a tough cookie by your example........

I guess only time will tell then.......
