Yeah, I read where they said the radio rumor isn't true... he isn't signed yet. However, they are bringing him in next week for a tryout and a physical. One newsource questioned why bring him in if you're not going to sign him?

Of course, that is a very good question. They probably will sign him. It likely says that the injury to Moss is more than they've let on, or they want to be ready to sign someone if the injury lingers.

This is exactly what the deal is. Moss groin is severe and you could see the pain he was in. He had to limp off the field. That will bother him all year long, a severe goin pull is no joke especially for a speed reciever coming out of breaks and making cuts. Moss will be useless....

You're right, a bad groin pull tends to linger all season. Bad for them. Mcardell won't even begin to replace his speed.

They're not going to score much anyway with that QB they have. Saunders can't even use 650 pages of his 700 page playbook with him running the O.

They can't score anyway. They ran behind Samuels and Kendle, supposely their power side of their oline and the Giants just crushed it twice. It was awesome...:laugh2:

Maybe because Portis had a bad case of butterfingers that day... or perhaps because there is a bad disconnect between Gibbs and Saunders... or maybe Gibbs is senile and thinks Betts is better.

But if you plan on signing him, wouldn't it make more sense to get him signed NOW, thus giving him a few extra days to learn the playbook??

Personally, I've been given a pretty f-ed up task at work and a lot of my time has gone into unf-ing it. Anyways, Lacanfora says that the McCardell thing is just a rumor. They are talking to a couple of free agents, but they haven't signed him nor is a signing imminent. Finding your news on a message board isn't the best of ideas (unless of course they link a credible news source)...

Considering that they have no WR's who can really move the chains, I see this is as a positive signing.

What is going on with the skins? They paid this guy handsome amount of money and gave up 3rd and 4th round draft picks to be their #2 WR (I believe) and he has zero catches this year. I guess coaches feel Lloyd isn't playing up to his capabilities and doesn't trust him or something.

Their 3 other WRs (Pinkston, Thrash, and Calwell) all sucks as well and now they add another has-been, nuts.

he was an inconsistent slob in San Fran, and is continuing it in Washington
