Aside from him being a shadow of the player he pce was, he's also a fist rate knucklehead.

To be honest, with the amount he is being paid, and the easily cuttable contract, I am "meh" on the move. Not in love with it, not a guy I'd want in the locker room, and certainly not a fan of his productivity.

All it tells me is Shanahan doesn't want to waste a pick in the 2010 draft on a RB, and that he is just trying to fill some spots.

My guess is that both Portis and LJ are not on the team after the April 2011 draft

Portis has a lot more left in him than LJ.

Portis is minimally better than LJ. They both have little left in the tank. Granted Portis has a little left - but not much. They are long in the toof at RB to say the least. The LJ signing is a headscratcher, but then again, it is the Commanders.
