I can't see the game, but part of the reason why the Eagles are so good at blitzing is their disguise is so good.

Actually, no. On the 3rd and 18 blitz, the Skins had called a screen, and the left guard (Dockery?) released Lewis without slowing him down. There wasn't any disguise.

On the prior play, the back had to decide whether to pick up the inside blitzer (Trotter) or the outside blitzer (Jones). He correctly picked up the inside blitzer, and Brunell had time to get rid of the ball, but it appeared that the receiver missed the hot route.

I think it comes down to the fact that the Eagles get more penetration from the front four, and that makes their blitzing LB's and safetys more effective. JMO.

That was a hell of a play...and yet he still has two fewer INT's and three fewer passes defensed and in .5 more games than our SS. Just saying...

Betts, is starting to get me worried ...Jim Johnson will have to make an adjustment on Him in the 2nd Qtr.

Dawkins is without doubt a warrior in the secondary! I'm concerned about a player Like Dawkins ...he's unafraid to toss his body in the air or anywhere to stop an offensive play. Roy Williams is that type of player also.

As much as I HATE MCFLABB and everything the Eagles represent to inlcude their organiztion , coach and fans!!
