You are an idiot.
I was going to post the exact same thing. However, it's true that Taylor was often out of position last year. The reason of course is that he had to cover the entire field, lacking a capable partner at safety. This year, Landry played close to the line, and Sean played deep, and we saw what kind of talent he had.

amazing what winning a game does for you worm infested skins fans.

I am soooooooo gonna enjoy watching your fraud of a team go down in the playoffs.:laugh2:

I'm thinking about sending gifts and throwing a party! :grouphug: :fogeys: :dance2:  :dance3: :flagwave: :money: :showme: :dissskin: :jackpot: :beatit: :catty:  :busty: :spidey: :mchammer: :banjo:

I know this has been said before many times, but I cannot believe Skins fans and the way they do a 180 on their attitudes towards others over a few ballgames played.

It started out that they wanted Gibbs' head and the Skins needed a total makeover to winning some games at the end. Now, instead of just feeling somewhat optimistic and hopeful about their team, they act like they are going to steamroll everybody.

Never saw a more delusional fan base.

You're acting like it's a bad thing for fans to be delusional.

Dude I live here and it's amazing how much stock they put in to beating us that last game as if that was the Boyz team they're gonna see if they make it past the Seahawks. Listening to DC sports radio is halarious. Unbelievable!!!

Delusional when it comes to said fans going to other boards and spouting off without anything behind it.

Tell you what, if for some reason you beat Seattle and get as far as the NFC Championship (and we are still there-hence the non-delusion) and beat Dallas, then you guys deserve props for the win. Otherwise, enjoy your optimism but the supposed "thrashing" that most of you Skins fans say you laid on the Cowboys is a pipe dream. Try to muster real hard to see why we didn't play up to our best the last game if you possibly can.

The Skins meeting the Cowboys in the NFC championship game is the definition of delusion.:) Unless the playoffs has some kind of loser bracket I didn't know about.

Yeah, thats what I get for typing in two different threads at the same time. You got me there. Come back for your crow or a congrats after the Cowboys game if you get that far.

The skins have done good during rough times.....but, I still dislike them

I know alot of their fans troll on here. Like alot of others here I hope I must tell you that I think they have played great this year, overcoming Taylor's death was not an easy thing. even though we may have rested a few players they flat schooled the Cowboys. They have handled both tragedy and winning with alot of class. Honestly I think they have the best shot at making it to play us.Those who say the game passed Gibbs by are wrong. He has done a great job of playing with what he has, these guys take it one game at a time. I also think Sean Taylor was a better safety than anything we have seen in Dallas in years...

Perhaps you should become a Skins fan...

Sounds like you need a nice razor blade & aluminum foil sandwich, washed down with a tall glass of bleach.

None of that goes on here in Dallas Nation I am sure.

1: Sean Taylor wasnt, nor was he ever going to be, the player Darren Woodson was. That's not even taking into account the vast difference in character between the two.

2: I get so sick of hearing how pro teams "overcome" things like this. Virginia Tech overcoming the murder of numerous students is one thing, but professional athletes who get paid MILLIONS to play a GAME for four months a year have no excuse to not show up and play their hardest. What the Hell were people expecting, that they would just lie down and give up? These guys are in a business. If a co-worker dies, you dont just stop doing your work or do your work with any less enthusiam. It was a terrible tragedy to have a young life cut down in its prime, but this Commanders team did nothing exceptional, they simply did what they get PAID to do. I hate few things more than hearing about big-shot athletes getting so much more credit than average joes for things we all go through simply because they are athletes and are famous.

No its because I honestly think Taylor was a great player..

If he was so "great", how come the Skins' defense improved when he left the lineup this season??

In 9 games before Taylor got hurt, the Skins were giving up 313.5 yards per game, and 21.5 points per game... in the 7 games after he went out, they gave up 288.6 yards per game, and 16.7 points per game...

Generally speaking, teams don't show such significant improvement when they lose a "great" player...

Explain why the Skins' defense actually improved without him, then...
