It's a business. If you're not constantly trying to improve, you're going backwards.

Also, when you have a bunch of people making these kinds of decisions absent game-experience, be it coaching, front office, playing, etc. -- at presumably any level, including pop warner -- then you're going to get dumb **** like this (from *******es like Blandino).

:) Let football still be football...where players grow and achieve on the field. Not in the rules before play.

There has to be a spontaneous element to create real stars.

Hacking microcontrollers is not as easy as hacking networks and if they make it a closed system it's not hard to monitor for 3rd party interference. if this really was an issue I would go after timekeeping and replay technology first.

A hacker could force his "hacked update" to chip via wifi.

I can understand that. It's like a programmer try to write software for something they do not work in.
For example, in my profession, Engineering. I often came across some programmer trying to tell me how to do my job better when they know nothing of Engineering. As their programs could be much easier if they were to ask us what we actually needed. For CAD software.
And yes, I did programming before, so I know both sides of it. It's not like I didn't know their job...LOL...

But now, I am out of that racket. LOL.

Would be funny if they could hack it to control the flight of the ball....:lmao:
Which I know won't happen. But if the Cheatriots could replace the chips and balls to do that, they would.

Imagine that the game winning FG attempt is going wide right... Then belicheck is on his phone and it does curl back and around the post.

Lol

Why can't they leave the game alone. They feel they must always change something.
Idiot NFL office.

Exactly. They feel the need to make small changes to the game every single offseason. It is ridiculous. I get trying to make the game safer over time but not these types of changes. It is fine the way it is.

Attention, NFL:

YOU DON'T HAVE THE CHANGE THE RULES EVERY @#$% SEASON! IT'S FINE TO HAVE A SEASON WITH THE SAME RULES AS THE PREVIOUS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I've made myself clear.

Good observation and question. It's like no one comprehends how advantageous the technology could be towards improving the game.

Yeah.............and the hackers are licking their chops. ;)
