I had that happen to me before and sometimes since, but after scanning for Malware, or scanning for a virus, I got a cleaner that cleaned the registers...problem solved.

Sometimes, something may stick in a register that the system uses. Try cleaning your registers.

I use Chrome for most of my work but some programs I use only work on IE. Realtor and appraiser programs.

Chrome is good. In Chrome, go to extensions and install ADBlock.

Also go to www.mywot.com and install that extensions on your browsers....they alert you to site that are questionable.
