Hey, I'd be pissed off as well had I gotten embarrased like that on national TV. But the Romo I am used to seeing is unflappable, smiling, confident, and ready to take on the world. This Romo today, according to reports, was "surly", defensive, kind of off balance.
Is it possible the pressure of playing week to week, the demands of BP, the media and all that hubbub are starting to take its toll?

I know I responded to my own post, : but I have asked this several times and have not gotten one response.

It could have been a couple of different things ...
1) Owens: I go left on this play ? ... Romo: no, you go out to the right.
2) Romo: Owens, you go left on this play, ... Owens: pauses and says I thought I was out to the right, ... Romo: my bad, you're right, go out to the right.
I was just curious if anyone knew for sure.
That's the funniest thing I've read in a while. The smirk was starting to get on my nerves as well.Paniolo22;1230943 said:I'd rather have him surly than the stupid little smirk he always has.

No, I'm encouraged by it. He played less than he has been and the team lost, now he's surly. Personally I find that extremely promising.BigDPlayer;1230941 said:Is it just me or is anyone else a little concerned at Romo's "surly" disposition?
