They did what they needed to do today........have Romo tone it down some, drive the bus, so to speak, while he continues to sharpen his skills. The same should be applied next week and hopefully he is sharper against NO.
He is not magically going to be the old Romo in a week or two.
Dallas is 12-1 when Murray gets 20+carries.
I do and Murray played well aside from 1 fumble today.
He took the yards this great line made for him. Randle would have done as well.
See my reply on his fumbles. 9 fumbles in 564 att. About once every 2 games.
My concern is that the D gave up over 300 yards despite only being on the field for 19 minutes. At that pace, if the time of possession were flipped the Titans would have approached 700 yards of offense.
Did you really just call out Demarco Murray? Did you not see Randle and Dunbar running up the backs of their own linemen? Murray was prodigal today.
As for his fumbling "issues".... The guy had ONE fumble all season last season. I think I would hold off on proclaiming that a chronic issue.
Murray is obviously more talented than Randle. I guess you think that Emmitt Smith was just another back that happened to play behind a great offensive line?
Doesn't matter how good your offensive line is if your back doesn't have the vision or talent to exploit it.
Some of those yards were in prevent. Plus the bend don't break philosophy.
this guy doesn't have that vision or talent. Even bringing up ESmith as an analogy is a joke. He leaves tons of yards on the field and has no where near his ESmith's talent.
Doesn't matter how good your Oline is? Really? You follow tag-football then ?

Really? Murray doesn't have Emmitt's talent? You sure?
And yea it doesn't matter how good your offensive line is if you don't have a running back capable of exploiting said offensive line.
What does tag football have to do with anything?
