If , if and but where candy and nuts we would all have a merry Christmas. Fact is defense won the 3rd down battles that has a lot to do with Tenn T.O.P yes they gave up some plays guess what if you watched most games today everyone gives up plays. Dallas held them to 10 forced a couple of turnovers and had a couple of sacks. They did their jobs

Ok, but I thought thread title clearly stated concerns despite the win. I didn't know sugar coating was required.

Not sure about Romo yet. I do have concerns about the lack of pressure (overall) getting the defense in more trouble when we face a better QB. Until we do then we'll just have to see what happens. Spencer will be back soon. I haven't followed Toomer. You'll eventually get Lawrence back. At that point I see an average or better DL. The LBs, as long as we have health there, are fine. We're thin at DB but OScan comes back next week.

What's the story with Wilcox?

Then they are doing better than last years group when we could not stop backup QB. We did not win 3rd down battle.

It says 9 in 39 games here too. You lie like a rug or worse you can't read a basic chart.

TOTAL3959315.22,9665.076.1179115726.52167

G Att Att/G Yds Avg Yds/G TD Lng 1st 1st% 20+ 40+
39 593 15.2 2,966 5.0 76.1 17 91 157 26.5 21 6

I can read a chart and I'm no liar as you so inappropriately stated. Perhaps the chart I looked at is incorrect, but I can certainly read what it's showing.

My concern is that the D gave up over 300 yards despite only being on the field for 19 minutes. At that pace, if the time of possession were flipped the Titans would have approached 700 yards of offense.

Not correct, the 61 yard play was a big contributor and they almost gave up 100 yards in the last possession , playing bend n no break -zone which ended in no points and goal line turnover on downs,

Not sugar coating anything. You start off with IF, reason Tenn could not change TOP is they lost 3rd down battles. People have taken cheap shots at this defense and without sugar coating only giving facts we held them to 10 points that is nothing but pure fact.

To my knowledge he just had a stinger.

and? those are empty stats scores are what counts on the board. Yards do not equal points putting the ball over the goal line which Tenn did 1 time and putting the ball between up rights which they did only 1 time accounts for points. Hell Dallas has won stats battles only to lose games, the game is about points made and Points allowed.

You're right bro! Yards only count on offense. Got it...

Yards do not mean much, they count TD and FG. no team won because they got more yards you win because you put up points.

Here is a clue NO put up more yards than the Browns. Guess what Saints are 0-2 right now

this guy doesn't have that vision or talent. Even bringing up ESmith as an analogy is a joke. He leaves tons of yards on the field and has no where near his ESmith's talent.

Doesn't matter how good your Oline is? Really? You follow tag-football then ?

Bottom line here. Murray played good. He was a very large part in getting the W today. Pretty simple

Romo not quite washed up. It looked he got his mojo when we matched their TD with that 80-yard drive. He was on point with the rest of his passes after that. I honestl believe he's just getting his legs back under him. All that talk in camp about being 100% ready to go was BS.

Did you really just call out Demarco Murray? Did you not see Randle and Dunbar running up the backs of their own linemen? Murray was prodigal today.

As for his fumbling "issues".... The guy had ONE fumble all season last season. I think I would hold off on proclaiming that a chronic issue.

This.

Despite the fumble Murray looked night and day running the football vs Dunbar and Randle. Like how Randle finished though in the 4th quarter. Was surprised to see him run between the tackles like that after looking terrible throughout his first several carries.

My biggest concern is Doug Free, at this rate Romo will probably get injured by JJ Watt.

One can spin things any way they want after any game. There hasn't been a win or a loss I can remember other then the SB victories where I couldn't point out some concerns. Seattle has some concerns. Denver even has some concerns. New Orleans definitely has some concerns!
Romo struggled again. And the pucker factor was a little higher than normal for me when he was dropping back to pass,I'll admit. But to say Romo is washed up after two games? One of which he finished with a 66% completion rating and a 97 QBR? That's pushing the hyperbole meter way past the red!
I wasn't expecting a whole lot of wins anyway.. So I think I'll enjoy the ones we get for as long as possible.
And let the coaches work on any of the concerns there may be.
