Exactly. When their offense is clicking, lots of points. When it isn’t, lots of solid defense.
Im not at all surprised by KCs 17 points. They are far from the juggernaut they were, but I never would have expected their defense to put the clamp down on Baltimore this way.

KC is containing Lamar. The DEs are keeping their lanes and Chris Jones isn’t letting him run up the middle. So , Lamar is being reduced to a pocket passer and he’s only got 1 decent pass catcher. Tough spot.

Tons of people don't get this. This game should be a blowout (like some other playoff game I can recall) but Baltimore's defense won't let it happen.

The Chiefs secondary is one of the best in the NFL, man. That’s the strength of their defense. The run defense is where they have struggled this year, but not this game.
