I am sorry, but, I know the defense is playing well and all. But, there are still blown coverages and missed tackles. To me, this defense is playing very well. But, dominant? Scary good? I don't see that. Close, but not yet.

Dallas needs to play lights out on both sides of the ball for them to have a chance.

It won't be the same egals team that shows up. This should be a great game and I pray Dallas comes out on top.

The Cowboys defense shut out the last two opponents. Do you know how hard it is to do that at the NFL level? Yes they are playing dominant. Every team makes mistakes. Every defense renders some yards and usually some points. But ours hasn't allowed a score of any kind in 8 quarters and counting. Even if the Eagles do get on the board, if our D continues like it has been playing, we will win anyway. No doubt about it. It also helps that the offense controlled the ball for darn near the entire game, but Philly had their chances and the Dallas D blanked them.

You mention the Cowboys need to play lights out on both sides of the ball. Well, that's even more true for Philly. The Cowboys are clearly the better team at this point. 4-2 against them in the Wade Phillips era, including three of the last four. The only way the Cowboys lose is if they beat themselves.

Exactly, if we dont turn the ball over then they cant beat us.

Its really that simple.

Agreed, that and no more blown coverages - hope Newman isn't gimpy. A healthy Ball is better than a hurt Newman IMO.

Living in the South Jersey area, the talk on the sports radio by the fans and local media have for the most part very positive. Fans alike think this game is a shoe in.

They call this "whistling past the graveyard"...

They have about 3 more days left that they can talk, after that they have to plan for next season

How much more dominant do you need to see beyond two straight shut-outs and counting? Dominant isn't the same thing as perfect.

They've held their last 4 opponents to season lows in points, haven't they?

Now there's an expression you don't read in many football forums.

i'm in the area a lot and i don't get that feeling. some are confident in a win but not most (at least that i've talked to). most of the people that i have talked about the game with think it will be a close game (as do i)

He then started asking his friends if any of them could break his $100.00 and they all said no, they weren't in his league. I was tempted to walk over, open my wallet and give him five $20s for the $100.00 but figured, nah, why push his member in any further than it already was.

You should have went over and broke his $100 in half. :laugh2:
Ok, now its broken... anything else I can break for you?
