Ms. Hunter from the NFL offices called me back. This is exactly what she said, word for word.

"Tank Johnson's suspension is a rolling suspension. He has served 1 game of his 8 game suspension."

I was dead wrong and I eat the crow I promised I would. Serve it up.

ooops sorry I was wrong, but I have never heard of a rolling suspension when did those get invented and why does it not apply to AB and others?

Thurman already served his suspension while under contract you dolt

He is STILL under contract

And then why is he being used s an example f why no contract = no time served. Im far from stupid and if you dont understand the nature of the argument perhaps you should shut up before making stupid comments like this one.

So far ive seen Thurman, AB, Q and Williams used as examples and none of them have held up.

Noone has signed AB and Q, Thurman served his suspension and Williams was retired and thus was not seeking NFL employment. Any other examples?

move over hos. i'll bring my own hooters bently sauce. as you can see above, there is a lot of debate over the issue and if this is what the NFL has said - i am wrong.

I would say it has to do with him seeking NFL employment after being cut. I actually wouldnt be surprised to see AB signed after next week as well.

At least I sought a real source to end this, and the proof is that I provided a name and it contradicted my stance. I have a feeling that if my stance was verified the argument still rages on.
