Question for those who follow Troy Smith. I haven't, but I'm just wondering.

He's listed taller than Seneca Wallace who does play QB in the NFL, so while he might not be the classic size of an NFL signal caller, would it really prevent him from being taken as a QB? He may go in a low round, but are his other QB attributes of NFL quality?

I thought Seneca and Troy were both 5'11"?

I've never really watched Troy until today, but from what I can gather from today's game is his arm is above average, his pocket prescence is good, and he knows how to side-step a rush, all that is NFL quality

edit: and he throws well on the run, although he could use some work there

and add weight :)

I did not say Arkansas was a better team. I said they have a shot at beating OSU. Really learn how to read- it opens up the world for you.

Rutgers has a chance.

Illinois had a chance.

Michigan had a chance.

Texas had a chance.

Give it up.

I'm sure these questions have already been answered, but I don't follow college football all that much to really know.

He's taller than Seneca, WG. Trust me, my one talent in life is looking at a man and gaging how big he is.

Smith is Shean?Sean?Shawn?Shaun? King's height.

I'll let brmafrd expound on Smith's assets.

I think he has some long ball accuracy problems. Nothing that can't be corrected I guess.

But he missed Ginn today, missed Ginn against Texas long....all the IFS would have been quieted if he hit those I think..that is...except for Arkansas bumertrd.

Oh. I'm trembling.;)

I'll bet. Just like you were trembling when it looked like the mighty Texas Longhorns were going to make a comeback last week against K-State - easily fortifying their #3 position in the BCS.

OSU fans across the country soiled themselves from being so overjoyed with the realization that they wouldn't have to face them in NC game. :D

Okay...okay...I'll stop. You guys were the best today and deserve a little congrats from the peanut gallery - so congrats on a HUGE upset...err, I mean...victory today. ;)

You OSU homers need to take off the glasses and admit some things. Michigan SHREDDED your d on the running game. Arkansas is better then they are. They could run the ball down your throats and control the game. I know asking for rational thought from you homers is useless but I thought I would try.

c'mon, don't be a sore winner

Michigan played you guys pretty tough

SIF, the one thing me and the Bucks can agree on is that Smith is god and that NOTRE DAME SUCKS.

We laugh at them together, unified as one.

Watched the game in my hotel room. What a fantastic game. I enjoyed it from 1st snap to final gun and the post game stuff too.

I am seriously considering trying to go the the Fiesta Bowl to watch this team live. The only problem is getting tickets.

Hey JackRussell, Tedd Ginn was sick on that catch and spin move. I still think Calvin Johnson is the best WR in college but OSU impressed today.

Concord Cowboy, Smith earned the Heisman today for sure. I've thought he was the front runner all season once Adrian Peterson went down. I hope my fears of him being 5'10" are unrealized. It would be a shame for NFL teams to shy away form him for that. Kid can play. I still say BQ s the best QB for the NFL game in this group.

rcowboysfan, class move congratulating the Buckeys like this. They deserve it. My condolences to the Wolverines fans on losing Bo.

I should. But I've loved Ginn since his freshamn year, and I'm sticking to it.

I heard for ten bucks...he'll love you back. ;)

Damn, I just can't help myself. :p:

Interesting since ND is the only real quality win Michigan has this year. Wisconsin does not count since they beat no one- even less worthy then Rutgers.

Yes.

Some people might think that because he is black and fast as the flash he is a Vick clone, but Smith is all about passing the ball. He has incredible accuracy and today showed his decision making. He would make a fine QB in the NFL.

Yes but to people who haven't watched him...He's short and runs all the time and will only be a WR in the Pros.

I want Ginn on our team

and think we might be in a position to take him in the 1st

I know, WR in the 1st, pipedream, but still...

I always wanted to know why OSU never renamed themselves the Fighting Marijuana Leaves.
