CNN is reporting the gunman targeted a classroom taught by his own mother. I wonder if the parent he shot at home was his father and then went to school and shot his mother, her students and along with some others at the school.
EDIT: some are saying the parent shot dead at home was his mother.

Mental health care under valued in this country. Insurance companies dont want to pay for years of depression therapy so they try not to cover mental health very well if at all. Would be nice if everybody had access to quality mental health care. Maybe some of these the real sick ones would be prevented from pulling off these acts.

My wife used to say I would never move to <insert place here> because there are crazies out there that shoot up <insert place here>. I used to tell her that they are everywhere. It just hasn't happen here like that yet.
