Went back to the game to watch Connor Williams screw up. He's the culprit in 2 Dak turnovers and the final sack.

6:10 INT - Pressure from defender running up Williams' gap while he blocks no one.
7:28 Fumble - Defender beats Williams for the forced fumble.
14:10 Final sack on Dak. Defender right up Williams' gap while he blocks no one.

Not really for sure how you 'low ball' someone who is unemployed in week 4 of the season. Especially when this person has not played a full season since 2013, and has missed at least 4 games in every season since 2014.

It may be a case of Leary and his agent thinking he is worth a certain price -- but the rest of the league is pretty clearly telling him he is not worth that price.

What’s bad, is that we don’t have anyone better to replace him with. What’s with McGovern?

What's bad is we're down Frederick and now maybe Collins for this year. What a beautiful dream it was, think Fred would be back to Fred, Collins threatening Pro Bowl, and McGovern and Williams fighting over LG.

Maybe McGovern just hasn't had enough snaps since he left college. Last year injured his chest in OTAs, then again same spot end of camp. Then this year was limited for everyone.

He wasn't even given a chance at C, with Williams taking snaps there ahead of him. No chance at C is a bad sign for what the new staff thinks of him, whether or not it's justified, since he even played C a year in college. Didn't seem like he was really given a chance at LG either, even with Williams coming off knee surgery and playing with a brace initially.

Leary has made over 31mil over his career. He shouldn't be desperate for cash. offer him too little, and with injury and covid risk, he may figure he'll just wait it out til next year, or retire.

the money they wasted on Poe [8.5 mil] should have been spent on a quality OL.

It's funny for me because I've spent the last couple of seasons sticking up for Williams. He was making progress. But I think the knee set him back, it's his third year, and I'm looking at just massive mental mistakes that cost us. Block *somebody*.

He also wasnt so bad in the first two games.

I would say he needs to be this kind of bad for another few games before they make a switch.

He needs to be gone though asap because a second deal here isnt in the cards for him one way or the other. Cant happen.

Edit....I don't care who the HC is, dont ever expect Dallas to be ahead of things. They wait until things are a real problem before doing anything...and sometimes not even then. It's part of the Jerry way of never winning.

The Dallas defense held Seattle to 24 points. It was Dak who gave up the other 14 points by not holding on to the ball!
Today its Connor yesterday it was Garrett and tomorrow it will be anyone but DAK!
Dak-love melts the mind and makes reality a non-factor!:omg:

I just watched the final Cowboys drive again and noticed a few things. They threw a flag, ineligible man downfield on #73. He was not. He was at the LOS. Don't offensive lineman get a yard? The refs also ignored the obvious trip on the last play.

Prescott was pressured on the first 2 out of 3 plays. But between those first 3, and the last few which were a disaster, he had time to throw but kept going underneath. It was those in between plays that wasted a lot of the time. But overall the offensive line did not play well on that last drive.
