My guess is that Jerry is just trying to lead his circus tent by way of feigning the possibility of Dak playing when MM has already stated he needs a full week of practice first.

I would, keep Philly guessing up until the last minute.
Make them use some valuable practice time preparing for the "just in case".
Only so many hours in the week to prepare for gameday, and less practice devoted can lead to some advantages for this team.
I will take every opportunity to take advantage that doesn't violate league rules.

I had a very similar situation as a coach.....unfortunately, I'm not allowed to share it....but, I will say this. Dak is the starter for a reason, when he is 100% or at least close to it, he needs to be on the field. Rush has done a great job and KM has too. My hope is that KM learned that he doesn't need for Dak to throw 70% of the time. I hope that Dak has learned to be patient and not check into passing plays as much. I feel that he is constantly trying to justify his contract...he needs to wipe his butt with his haters and just play football.

My team is the Dallas Cowboys so I pledge my support to the team and I don't hold any player above them. I want Dak because it's obvious he can produce more points. But if Cooper has another mistake free game and we beat Philly, and Dak comes back and struggles like he did against the Bucs, losing against the Lions and Bears, I'll vote to bench him in a poll that Reality will create after he loses two in a row.

The "Romo/Dak Friendly" offense put up a ton of points and stats but they both have a losing record in the playoffs. I like this boring "Rush Friendly" offense long as our defense continues to play like they are playing. I would like to see Dak's friendly offense scaled back a bit because with this D we don't need to sling it around the yard because he's not a gunslinger. The offense he ran in his rookie year is perfect for him and I think they should go back to that, IMO.

I like this offense too, but we can run it because of our defense...that's why I hope we keep the same scheme with Dak
