Huh? Rush's completion percentage is significantly lower than Dak's. And if DB's could catch he would have thrown 5 INTs against Houston. What games are you watching?
Aren't you embarrassed comparing the highest-paid NFL player to a 2 million $ backup?
You are insulting Mr.Prescott in a major way.
So, if he played at an Allen to Jackson, Mahomes, Hurbert, and Burrows level of play, with your logic, we would be paying him 100 million $ a year?

I prefer this style as well. Dak doesn't like to play this way though. He wants to play hero-ball and they weren't winning more than 7 or 8 with Dak either. End of the day, Rush sucks, but I love watching him make everyone in this organization squirm at the realization that they didn't have to sell out the future of the team to sign him.
It's amazing how many fans think Dak is the reason why the offense is chucking the ball down the field, like he's the one making the call to sling the ball down the field 50 times a game.

The coaches are the ones calling these plays, man. That's the Offense when you have your starting QB in the game. Rush is just taking whatever the other team is giving because that's what the coaching staff is limiting him to.

I've noticed that ksk, unless he's waiting for a deeper receiver, he actually is very quick at times to throw the ball and it helps his completion percentage.

I never tried to compare Rush's completion % to Daks, pro or con. I simply commented on how quick he gets the ball out "at times" and that it usually helps his completion percentage, which it does.

The team currently wins with Rush at about the same % as Dak, little better actually. Does that mean Rush is better?

No.

Does it mean Dak is vital to the team's success and they couldn't win without him like you preached all offseason clamoring for him to be signed or be doomed to NFL purgatory for the rest of existence?

Also no.

It's amazing to think that in his 9th season Dak doesn't have the ability to audible and just runs the plays that are called. You might be right though.

I know you were trying to be a smart***, but the plays called by the offensive coaching staffs ARE different. Not every heroball down the field is a play that was audibled. Hell there's a whole thread on here about people noticing the plays called are different since Cooper Rush has been on the field.

The coaches don't have Cooper Rush slinging the ball down the field 50 times a game simply because he can't. That entire set of plays isn't available and you can see the difference on the field.

Did you not say that what Rush does "helps his completion percentage." Maybe I misunderstood you. Are you saying that if not for this factor Rush's completion percentage would be even lower than it is? And it's already near the bottom of the league.. You saying it could be worse? Please clarify what you were getting at. I apologize if I misunderstood.

The old if DBs could catch, heck if that was the case Dak would have 20 in 8 games on track for another almost NFL record
Based on what? How many INTs did Dak throw that were dropped this season? Which game(s)? Point them out to me and I will go back and watch them for myself.

Can you say two special teams TDs? Seriously folks. Rush did what we have always seen him do.. Lead the offense to about 20 points. If not for Turpin (and the Washington kicker) bailing us out this would have been a loss. Please pay attention to the games!
You do not know for a fact, that the two possessions taken from the offense by STs would not have resulted in any scoring.

I see you are erring on the side of caution, for the sake of your argument of course.

With the exception of a couple (mostly teasing) comments, not many think Rush is so much better.

People see what might be a "different" team, with the same results, at a far cheaper rate of pay.

Lotta people using the "defense playing better" and "finally have a run game" excuses. Funny...odd...how that only seems to happen when Coop plays.

When Dak plays they blame them for losses.

(I could have said that better but you know what I mean, I'm at break and in a hurry here :))

Past performance indicates but about 20 points was all we could reasonably expect with Rush leading the offense. I saw nothing Sunday that would lead me to believe they were about to break out and score 30+. The Cowboys had 20 points before Turpin's return with 2:49 left on the clock. Where were these other two possessions and possible TDs from the offense coming from? But it was a good game overall by Rush. And the offense still only managed 20 points. Mind you the two possessions you're crediting the offense with would have been the last 2:40 of the game and the Cowboys in kneel down mode or at the very least VERY conservative mode. So no, I don't think another 14 points from the offense were in any way plausible for that game. That's not erring on the side of caution.. That's living in reality man!

Gotta love "Cowboys Fans" celebrating a season-ending injury to one of their own players.
