Ronnie it sounds like you're trying to make something out of the above post that was never implied or intended. My statement about Cooper Rush's passing was based on watching him in the Washington game. In that particular game he completed 24 of 32 attemptsDid you not say that what Rush does "helps his completion percentage." Maybe I misunderstood you. Are you saying that if not for this factor Rush's completion percentage would be even lower than it is? And it's already near the bottom of the league.. You saying it could be worse? Please clarify what you were getting at. I apologize if I misunderstood.
Oh Ronald it’s going to be ok I promise … winning a few games without Dak is not the end of the world. He will be back next year and your world will be back to the way it was …delusional that he is Joe Montana. Can you say two special teams TDs? Seriously folks. Rush did what we have always seen him do.. Lead the offense to about 20 points. If not for Turpin (and the Washington kicker) bailing us out this would have been a loss. Please pay attention to the games!
Gotta love Cowboy fans mad that Dallas won without DakGotta love "Cowboys Fans" celebrating a season-ending injury to one of their own players.
I'm not saying he doesn't deserve credit for last season. But the Narrative changed all the sudden since Dak got Injured. Before the injury, people were pointing out that he looked slow and took sacks. He wasn't the same guy he was last year before the injury, but we supposed to pretend he was?So he deserves no credit for wins and all the points we were scoring until this season? We led the league in offense with him twice. He led the league in TDs last season. He deserves no credit for the win over the Steelers on our final play? Every game we win with Rush he receives a lot of credit, mainly from the fans that hate Dak. Look at this Rush appreciation thread that’s 33 pages and counting. Lol He did little in the first half. Had it not been for our defense and the two kick returns for TDs we would have lost despite Washington not playing well. I saw one post with a fan claiming had Rush started this season we might be 7-4 instead of 4-7 despite the fact we’re 1-2 with Rush. This is a crazy fan base.
I didn't say the team was the same as last year, but that doesn't change what we seen this year where there is a bit of time when the pass rush comes but he stays there and takes the sack instead of releasing the ball or using his legs. It got so bad that some Die Hard fans of his quit on him and even put him down. Then the injury happened, Rush struggled a bit, and it seems to erase all that from people's memories. The team isn’t the same as last year. Do you not see that? With the way our defense played until the last 33 seconds with two KOs for TDs, along with a decent running game there’s no doubt in my mind we would have won on Sunday with Dak. Anyone who thinks we wouldn’t have, thinks Cooper Rush is better than Dak. Those fans can’t be taken seriously. Do you think Rush is better than Dak? You sure sound like you think he is.
He’s looked slow ever since the ankle injury in 2020. He was taking sacks this season mainly because of the struggles on the OL and the receivers struggling to separate. He was hanging into the ball too long. Most of his problems were due to the decline in the team.I'm not saying he doesn't deserve credit for last season. We were already seeing him taking sacks last season. I don't think you are going to see him improve that aspect of his game when he comes back. He'll continue taking the sack if there is some kind of pass rush, now that he has lost his legs. He’s looked slow ever since the ankle injury in 2020. Fair enough.. if your intent was to analyze the last game as a standalone entity then you are correct. Rush got the ball out very quickly in that game and most of the throws were short. I believe that was by design, giving a nod to his lack of arm strength to throw longer routes. Even the longball to Brooks was basically a punt that Brooks stopped and found. The great intermediate completion to CD was going to die 2 yards short of CD if CD didn't adjust the route to come back to the ball. Which is the mark of a good receiver helping his QB. If we can continue that then we have a chance to win the next four games. We don't face another good defense until we got to Philly. Get this.. the Giants 17th ranked defense will be the best defense we face the rest of the season except for Philly. The back end of the schedule lines up nicely for us. I don't anticipate us winning all 5 of the "winnable" games left but man will I be happy if we do! And frankly Philly may have everything clinched by week 17 and be playing that game in preseason mode. Who knows!?!? Can you imagine!!?!? We end up 10-7 and squeak into the playoffs? On a 7 game win streak! How friggin awesome would that be!?!?!Buzzbait said:
I've noticed that ksk, unless he's waiting for a deeper receiver, he actually is very quick at times to throw the ball and it helps his completion percentage.

for a 75% completion percentage, and he was indeed getting most of the shorter passes off very quickly exactly like I stated in the above post. The rest of the season has all been a lower % than that.
Your post almost sounds defensive as if you think I'm making a Dak vs Rush comparison and I'm not. I'm not defending or favoring either of our two QBs, I simply commented on what I noticed, which was that Rush at times was getting some of his passes off very quickly which was true. And when he does, that has to improve his % ratio because the defense has less time to react.
He's turned into a statue and his arm is in even worse shape than his legs. Dak is done physically. His body is breaking down.We were already seeing him taking sacks last season. I don't think you are going to see him improve that aspect of his game when he comes back. He'll continue taking the sack if there is some kind of pass rush, now that he has lost his legs.

The Subconscious mind is a most powerful thing..........He's WEAK in both mind and body and the pressure activates his need to hide from the reality of his ineptness!
Boom down and out he goes again........................
I think he is done physically as well. I just don't see him getting back to where he was before. He's turned into a statue and his arm is in even worse shape than his legs. Dak is done physically. His body is breaking down.
When we’re 6-7 and Rush brings this team to three straight I have a feeling even more will see the Rush!God how does this thread exist. Rush is awful
7-3 as a starter. Pulled the team out of the Dak funk. Got our first home win this season.God how does this thread exist. Rush is awful
