Keep in mind the defense has stepped up big along with the fact the run game has greatly improved; both aspects were terrible the first 8 or 10 games of the season. Those are big helps to ANY quarterback. I'm just saying.

Dak's plays a role in both those issues,

When you turn the ball over like crazy and constantly go 3 and out it puts your defense in bad positions. Dak plays a role in that.

When your BFF is Zeke and he gets a bunch of carries until you go out with an injury then Rico is instantly named starter. Dak plays a role in it.

Dak's bad play made the defense and run game suffer.

Agree to disagree. It's not perfect but it's the best we have. It's a team sport. There is never going to be a direct comparison metric between two players. I mean college football used strength of schedule for years (& should have kept using some form of it) in ranking the teams.

Honestly there is not much different stats wise. With one game less played Rush as the same amount of TD's, 5 less ints and 9 less sacks. After this weekends game we will have the same number of games started.

No it’s not. It’s one of the many stats you can us to form the argument. And it’s weak. The defense was historically bad the first half of the season. Rush is playing with a good defense right now. Just too many variables have changed to say “oh he beat this team so he’s better”. It’s as weak of an argument as it gets.

I know what the Dak lovers will say. The injuries when Dak was playing is why!! I don’t give a damn about the injuries. Every NFL team has injuries. The brutal truth is that Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same 2024 team that Dak was 3-5 with. Even if you don’t think Cooper is better than Dak, convince me how Dak is 58 million dollars better than Cooper Rush? I’m not making stories up or misleading anybody. Cooper Rush has a better win loss ratio THIS SEASON! How on earth does this happen!?!? He makes 60 million a year and has been outperformed by Rush. It doesn’t matter how this season ends anymore.
