Cooper Rush is a typical NFL backup QB....Dak had no success with this current team...Cooper had no chance to be anything but what he has shown to be....a decent backup QB on a very bad team that the starting QB couldn't do anything with...Lance will do no more than what Cooper could do...maybe run more...just blow it up and move on...start building a new team...so let this team suck for the next three years or until Arch Manning comes out...and take him....for me, a five win or less for the next few years is needed...we've waited 30 years....a few more wont hurt....:)
He's really not. He has no arm.

maybe jerry's plan is to resign him on the cheap. or at least that's his hope. if he picked up his 5th year option he would owe him 25M. would he be worth 25M for one year as a back up while still learning?
maybe he will try to sell him to stay, given how they have treated him and sell him on whichever coach he signs, specially if its Bilicheck.
playing him and risking him showing a little something is only going to raise his price.
Lance will be available on the cheap in the offseason.

no that's not how it was he never got in any regular season games he was never healthy enough and all you're remembering is preseason and a guy who never really could practice enough and play enough to learn that very different type of offense is very complicated and that's all you guys remember that's what I'm talking about let this guy play with more starters going down the stretch with no pressure that you're gonna be because you can't be much worse than what we've seen already I don't get where you think this is a problem why you don't wanna see a man you're probably not gonna be here next year I wanna see the guy play the last four games and you tell him here go play with no pressure we're not pulling you unless you get hurt and I said while we're at it let's completely change the offense let's not make this easy on the opponent but Mike McCarthy doesn't know how to do this I would sit Cooper rush the rest of the way as the emergency 3rd and I would bring up will grier and I'd run rpos sweeps Wildcats the rest of the way I would make people respect something back there so then when you didn't wanna throw you might have some play action openings and at least for the fan base we see something new something different and what do we have to lose I don't get what you guys are against this I don't even know why you would wanna see Cooper Ross we've seen this dude he is what he is and if the intent is to organically lose anyway and take you might as well do it in a more fun manner I'd rather see a mobile guy and his backup being mobile rising up that's the rest of the way that makes it tough on our opponents because they haven't seen it..

Sure would be fun back there seeing a lot of misdirections and reverses and rpos fakes and a player that can actually run it and that would be Lance or will grier much more mobile and I mean just throw out the playbook and bring back just a few pages of plays like that that all based off rpos in a mobile quarterback I mean I was allowed to see Wildcat all of it let's just go crazy I don't see the point in ever playing Cooper rush ever again... That's my point I don't get it I don't care if Cooper rush is serviceable that's not what we need going down the stretch if we're gonna lose we might as well make it more fun and if Jerry's thinking he don't wanna lose the fan base attention that's already passed and if he wants to keep losing it he'll keep starting Cooper rush he says Cooper rush gives him a better chance to win and that might be true but wouldn't it be more fun for fans to come to games if you just created something fun down the stretch with mobile quarterbacks and it changes defensive strategies because they don't know what's coming yet it's gonna have a hard time adjusting to it in my opinion wouldn't that give you a better chance to win just scrapping what's happened the 1st 10 games?
As I said I’d start Lance. But it’s not like he’s never played a regular season game. He did for the 48ers. I don’t think you change the offense because that’s to complicated but you do call different plays with him. Give him a couple reads and then he runs. As I said I’d play everyone of the guys I plan on having here next year to get them reps and tape on them to evaluate them

The previous 2 games Rush had 25 and 23 pass attempts. Against Houston, Rush had 55 pass attempts. I submit any QB would lose a little zip on the ball after 35-40 attempts. You can't argue against his accuracy getting better. Dak can't throw some of those balls anywhere near as accurate. Hell, Dak can't throw a screen pass. Just sayin.

Rush has no zip to lose.

There are 25 college QBs right now who would be better. He’s absolutely a waste of a roster spot. In the 30 years I’ve watched high level Texas and Louisiana football, there are some HS QBs who could do better right now.
Well by golly since you say so.

What was your NFL team again?
