End of discussion nothing. You refuse to explain yourself or answer why leave other positions without backups. You've got nothing other than to kiss the ring of this organization.
Full of crap...you prefer to ignore the actual explanation, which makes an application of causes lacking. I don't refuse but to not explain multiple times that you find inconvenient.

Straight up on personnel, who was deprived the presence on this very team...you own up or just quit a failure to discuss. I owe no homage to your views instead. Not really impressed now...my efforts are at team building not status on site. Sorry Charlie.

You chase the confrontation, I don't really care for it, myself. But I won't agree with wrong. There is still no right way to do the wrong thing. These Cowboys did a great job and I don't see any unsound base principals in what was done by their leaders....PERIOD. I'm also loyal, not conveniently for how that sounds on site.

You name call instead of discuss and that is pretty low class when resorted to instead. Give me a name and prove your stance. I don't have that problem from stances taken.

1-3 are fine. But who plays after them week 1? Joseph is gone and the new guy probably won’t be ready. Lewis was activated (stupid move) but likely won’t be ready. Wright is headed to IR. That leaves Scott and Izzy pinch hitting. Not ideal. Let’s hope and pray the big 3 stay healthy
If our #4 CB is a big enough issue to trouble you, then we are looking solid. I suspect Lewis won't be ready as I'm sure you don't either or you wouldn't have started the thread. But, Igbinoghene has started in the NFL before so I'm sure he can handle #4 duties if they even arise. Personally I suspect we are about as strong at CB as just about any team in the NFL

You have a former NFL DPOY on one side, the most prolific interceptor over the past three seasons on the other side, the team's leader in INT's last season is in the slot, backed up by the guy that used to be the starter.

The CB backing up the two outside CB's is a former #1 draft pick and the other CB is this year's most pleasant preseason surprise on defense.

I'm looking for an issue here and I'm not seeing one. Is it because of CB6's lack of experience? A quick inventory of each team's 6th best CB should reassure you.

I think Eric Scott is someone you want getting 5-10 snaps a game if possible and more if you have a healthy lead

He had a great start to camp and then PS game 1 just stunk, then was ok in PS game 2, and then made a couple really nice plays (including a beautiful 4th down PBU) in PS game 3.

The Cowboys would be wise to cultivate that growth. He has all the tools to be a Daron Bland 2.0 and plays with great technique and turns his head. He just needs reps for confidence.
It's more likely Scott ends up on the PS than gets 5-10 snaps per game

Specific scheme needs? So to hell with the other positions? Let's leave our Center, TE and LB positions without backups so we can have 3 deep at CB and DT? What kind of scheme is that?
It's as if you don't understand the roster will be a little different by week 1. Patience...

Where did I ever name call? If you don't like being questioned and asked for specifics, next time don't reply to my original comment. Like I said, you can keep on kissing the ring, but I'm going to question this team when I feel so. Has absolutely nothing to do with loyalty.

It's likely Wright and/or Lewis is moved to IR and a non-CB is then signed. Plus, backup CBs are usually core STs guys and that's a big part of filling out the bottom of the roster.
Thank you. That would make sense. Appreciate the explanation.

Ooops. Scratch the comment on Lewis. He would have just stayed on the PUP List if he wasn't going to be on the week 1 53 man roster. But, Wright is expected to be moved to IR and since Lewis won't likely be healthy enough to be on the game day roster for week 1 he doesn't yet count as part of the "having too many guys" group and won't help our depth chart just yet

A few questions:

*How is activating Lewis a “stupid move”? He is ready to practice and it will take several weeks to get even close to football ready. So let’s say he’s ready Week 2 or 3. That gives him almost 5 weeks of practicing. If you leave him in PUP, he can’t practice. So what you want to make him active week four, which means he won’t be game ready until like week 5 or 6. No the professional that actually are in that building know better then us.

*How is the new guy not ready? He has been in the league for 3 years. He is just as ready as Joseph was, so that move is a wash.

I'm sick and tired of Dan Quinn being catered, coddled and allowed to carry way too many players on Defense at each position, except Linebacker. Quinn's got 7 CBs. 7. Who needs so many CBs? It's overkill. Same goes for the DT position. 6 DTs. 6! Why so many? Why not 5 or 4 DTs? What's the matter Dan Quinn? I thought you are this big defensive football guru? Why so many players at certain Defensive positions that are taking away from other spots on the team from having a backup (Center position, LBs, TEs). Why does Dan Quinn keep being given favoritism at the behest of the rest of the team? It's going to come back and bite the team.
We only have one LB on the field for a lot of plays. 3 CB, 3 safety dime defense is a common DQ look. So it makes sense that we went heavy ok DBs.

Diggs, Gilmore, Bland, and Lewis (now healthy) are all starting caliber. Diggs and Gilmore are elite. Noah Igbinoghene is an upgrade, for whatever that is worth, over Joseph. Eric Scott is a project for the future.

If there is a problem I don't see it.
How is Noah an upgrade? I bet you didnt even know who he was.
