He is the best LB. Thats not my point and it wasnt a knock on him.

It was a wasted pick as i already explained. The point is that the other LBs all had injury issues. Especially Smith wasnt on most NFL drafting boards because of his injury. LVEs neck issues were known for a long time.

Parsons woulndt have been needed if our FO had made a better job. Where "better" is a affront to the word itself when you look at our FO.

The problem is your posting has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, which is ranking our CBs.

Your entire commenting has nothing to do with that and is just another piss and moan post about how the team is run.

But given all that...the fact remains LB was a huge need for us and Parsons was clearly the best one available. Your concept that the pick sucks because other LBs haven't worked out is silly, quite frankly.

I had a feeling I was going to regret asking you that question.

Setting aside players and coaches don't "tank" (front offices do), the Cowboys were already 2-3 in those 5 starts. They were never going to get Lawrence.

does it matter who actually tanks ?

so you think we wouldnt been able to trade up one spot ? do you think our fo is that kind of bad ?

You were claiming that we shouldn't have taken Parsons due to our mishaps w/ drafting LB's previously. However, Parsons is too good of a prospect to pass up, and the need is there. Soooooooooooooooo, what's your point? If you understand that his signs point up, then why do you believe taking him was a mistake? Yes, help me.

i never claimed we shouldnt have taken parsons.

can it be that you do not read exactly what I have written and imagine rather simply that I would have wanted to say this or that?

if thats the case all i can say is: read my posts again. maybe that will help you understand me.
provided, of course, you want to understand me at all and not just shoot back

I hope Canady is good but hasn’t the guy been on 2 NFL rosters and done nothing? Maybe now is his time but it seems a little to good to be true.

Wright and Joseph are going to play a ton out wide and Lewis & Brown will share slot duties.
He had a very good 2019. Gave up a 75 QB rating in 50 targets. Those aren't starter level targets, but pretty good #'s for a sub package guy

Horn will have a better career than Surtain.

I expect Surtain to be a lot like Dre Kirkpatrick, Mark Barron, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Alabama secular tend to underperform in the pros.
Kirkpatrick was a very good CB and Fitzpatrick was a DMVP candidate. You also have Humphrey who is one of the better CB's in the NFL. I dont know where this false narrative of Bama DB's struggling comes from. There have been two busts in the last 10 years, Barron and Milliner. And those were from 2012 and 2013

Well i answered to a post that had nothing to do with the OT.

Like your post is an answer to mine which has nothing to do with the OT.

To that i now give an answer that has nothing to do with the OT.

Still i also gave an answer to the OT.
