Well, I doubt if the Giants will find another coach as good as Tom Coughlin, so this could be good news for the Cowboys.

I agree. As long as Philadelphia doesn't get an awesome coach, we should be set to dominate this division for several years. Coughlin always seemed to have our number when it mattered most.

Edit: I was glad when Reid left the division too.

If the Giants would like Jason Garrett as head coach, I'm sure the Cowboys would be willing to make a trade. Get on the phone Jerry. Make it happen. Throw in Linehan as a two-for-one if the Giants play hard ball. Make the Eagles the same offer. Heck, any team out there looking for a coach, I'd be offering Garrett and Linehan for little to nothing.

Yeah, just as I thought. Same response from everyone: don't call us, we'll call you.

That HOF coach down there in New England never "out coached" Coughlin when all the chips were on the line.

Belichick has been "out coaching" everyone else though for the last decade and a half.

Coughlin must be pretty darn good.

While it is possible NY would want Payton, I can't imagine Payton going there. He still lives in Dallas and he has job security in New Orleans which an easy drive/flight away. If New York had a young up-and-coming quarterback, it might be different.

His teams usually finish stronger than they begin the season.

All I'm saying

Interesting. I'm curious if he will be elected to the HOF, as a two-time winning SB Head Coach he has a strong shot. Also interesting to see if he looks for another position of if he calls it a career.

All of these teams making moves to better themselves is just a small stab with a rusty knife everytime to know that were stuck with the clapper

Especially knowing that the clapper is the most deserving of getting canned
