Could a Patriots Super bowl win shame Jerry into doing what's necessary

Far be it from me to know how billionaires think but Robert Kraft is one of the only people in the world that Jerry would consider himself in competition with.

Kraft has assembled himself a homegrown team with a Chance to take them back to championship level in a relatively short period of time.
His coach is a former player homegrown.
There's no spygate no deflate gate nothing to taint the achievement.

For Jerry it's got to be like Robert Kraft stealing his girlfriend taking her to the prom and being crowned king and queen while Jerry stands in the corner without a date.

I think all it takes is the right trigger to get Jerry to really go all in and I'm hoping this could be it so I'm rooting for the Patriots even though I hate them to see if this triggers Jerry's ego to actually do something instead of just gaslight the whole fan base.

The Eagles being the NFCE rival nemesis for year, and their 2 SB wins has not changed Jerry. So why would another NE SB win do it.

If anything, the past few years here changed Jerry more than those things.

He was shamed by Jimmy Johnson (it was the media’s and the fan’s reasonable view that Jimmy deserved all the accolades) by not being held responsible for winning those 2 Super Bowls.

It’s important to understand that Jerry thinks that when things are bad, more of him is the answer.

I’m sure it bothers him that Kraft is back in the SB, but he will never admit it. I want to see if Kraft brings up the HOF (which Jerry deserves, but not until after he quit…like everyone else) this week. I really hope he takes a shot at him.

That's a good question and I thought the eagles blasting past us and winning a Super bowl would put a fire under Jerry's behind.

Like I said I'm not sure what's in the mind of a billionaire but he did say that he wanted to end his life with having won the most Super bowls well if Kraft wins another that just puts him further behind in his quest.

Whether this quest is truly in his heart or just more hype and gas lighting of the fan base remains to be seen.

But it's for sure that Robert Kraft is an individual on Jerry's level financially and as far as his success in the NFL he has gone above and beyond Jerry.

Whether it will really trigger Jerry or not it's hard to say but if it does I'll take it.

You're 100% right in all you're saying and yes he is full-blown sabotaging the team with his methods of running the team.

I'm just wondering if jealousy of Robert Kraft's success could propel him to do things the right way.

The only thing that will shame Jerry is coming in #2 on the Forbes most valuable sports franchise list.

Now that is true if Robert Kraft won the Super bowl and passed him on the Forbes list and got nominated and inducted into the Hall of Fame.
That might possibly trigger some emotion in Jerry

One thing it does prove absolutely positive is that we are all not crazy on this forum in believing that Jerry is not doing everything in his power to win.

He and Robert Kraft have the same resources at their disposal and if craft can build a Super bowl team there's no reason why we can't at least win a couple playoff games or get to an NFC championship.

The only common denominator is Jerry and his refusal to have the best coaching staff and the best front office staying below mediocre in those two areas negates whatever talent we compile.
