Could a Patriots Super bowl win shame Jerry into doing what's necessary

The Eagles being the NFCE rival nemesis for year, and their 2 SB wins has not changed Jerry. So why would another NE SB win do it.

If anything, the past few years here changed Jerry more than those things.
We seen the start of the change last year at this time.
You mean when he lowballed MM, signed a first time HC, then proceeded to have the EXACT same free agency they always do, just a week earlier and all while continuing a drawn out argument with the teams best defensive player?

Do you realize Williams was the only free agent pick up last off season that contributed to this team in a positive way?

What changes are you talking about man?

No way in hell am I rooting for another team to have another SB more than we do. Jerry is either going to understand or he's not but he is not fixing a 2 SB deficit anytime soon, so no, I am all for the Seagulls

The same man that watch the commanders go 4-13, 3-13 twice, 5-12, 4-12 multiple years and be one of the most irrelevant teams in the league that people dont even mention when they ask whos in the nfc east make the conference championship after a LONGER drought than us

The same team that took 33 years to win more than 10 games in a season make a conference championship before we made it back?

What would Jerry care?

The Patriots have been to more Superbowls since 1996 than we have playoff wins

They are also responsible for establishing a long-embedded culture that is not conducive for being Super Bowl competitive. Father and son act like they are champions, but it is mainly for show. They are poor leadership examples for the type of work environment needed to get the job done.
Mr Jones loves the Cowboys and will do anything, anything to win a SB

Except the one thing actually needed, get a real GM and stop interfering in football operations

They've won, what, 6 Super Bowls since we've last managed to run 2 playoff games in a row.

Why would another change anything?

I wouldn't feel shame if I were Jerry, hes done enough. But it might motivate him
Exactly the competition with Robert Kraft another billionaire who was showing Jerry that he can do what Jerry can't do.

They both have the same resources to succeed with

Someone in the media needs to point that out.

Would think the Dallas media would be all over that but since Jerry threatened the guy's jobs I guess they're afraid to bring it up

The two big resources Jerry will never have despite his billions:
  • Class
  • Humility

Far be it from me to know how billionaires think but Robert Kraft is one of the only people in the world that Jerry would consider himself in competition with.

Kraft has assembled himself a homegrown team with a Chance to take them back to championship level in a relatively short period of time.
His coach is a former player homegrown.
There's no spygate no deflate gate nothing to taint the achievement.

For Jerry it's got to be like Robert Kraft stealing his girlfriend taking her to the prom and being crowned king and queen while Jerry stands in the corner without a date.

I think all it takes is the right trigger to get Jerry to really go all in and I'm hoping this could be it so I'm rooting for the Patriots even though I hate them to see if this triggers Jerry's ego to actually do something instead of just gaslight the whole fan base.
Men in their 80s have no shame.

Yeah bullet Jerry's got the moral compass of an alley cat

I was just thinking if somebody like Robert Kraft made him look bad enough it might cause him to pull the stops out and do something to try and compete.

But he's probably beyond that I don't think he has enough pride in the team to do what's necessary.

anyone know if jerry has made his yearly comment that he "is surprised the cowboys are not playin in the Supe Bowl."

Here’s a cleaned-up version with a bit more punch and flow, written for a Cowboys forum:

Kraft surrounds himself with football people who are obsessed with winning championships.

Jerry, on the other hand, tends to surround himself with yes‑men who tell him what he wants to hear and keep his ego comfortable.

What’s interesting is that Kraft still built one of the most valuable franchises in the league—but let’s be honest, that value doesn’t exist without the Super Bowls. Take away those titles and the Patriots are nowhere near where they are today.

Now look at the Cowboys. They’re already a top‑earning franchise without recent championships. That’s the wild part. If this team actually stacked Super Bowls the way New England did, the Cowboys wouldn’t just be on top—they’d be in a financial category of their own. You could easily argue they’d be worth two or three times what they are now.

That’s the real frustration. The brand is already massive. Winning consistently would turn it into something untouchable.

I agree with most of that, I dont think they are afraid to bring it up, it's really pointless and obvious to all who's in the SB. Jerry knows what he has said ibwant to see how the offseason ends because so far I have seen many changes for good

Kraft has twice as many Lombardi trophies as Jerry, so Kraft as already won that competition going away.
Please don't use the words "shame' and "Jerry" in the same sentence.
:muttley:

Nailed it.
You would think with the business acumen Jerry has he would see this.

"For Jerry to go ALL IN"?

what does that even mean?

He would argue he goes "all in" every year.

To ME, all in means him acknowledging he sucks, and is a wrinkly old geriatric with no business running the team, which leads him to hire a real GM. But we all know he'd rather lose than win with another GM...so that's not happening.

But what does ALL IN mean to you?
