Well......the issue is the DE you get at 20 likely won't be any better than the DE you get at 28. So you basically are giving away Tony Romo for free. Stay at 28, trade Romo for a pick (that 3rd rounder you mention) and get an extra player. The DE at 28 + the 3rd round player = better deal.

The problem is that Denver doesn't have a 2nd rounder since they traded for Lynch last year, so they probably are not willing to give up the 3rd straight up. That would leave them with only one pick in the first three rounds of the draft, that is why the deal being discussed is a trade of first round picks, that way the Broncos get Romo and still have two picks in the first three rounds of the draft and we still get fair compensation.

Those are the parameters of the deal, nothing else.............so yea, I go ahead and do the deal Denver is proposing
