no, that's fine. he *is* active. but when was the last time he traded away 2 picks? it's like a mcgregor joke - ya do one sheep, you're branded for life as the sheep-doer.

but what has jones ever done since then to make people think he'll trade the farm for mcfadden? we've never done it since then and we've never really been enamored with ANY player just because of arkansas.

i see us taking CB and trading down and smith or rice in the 2nd. WR a focus but maybe not immediate. maybe even trade the 2nd 1 for roy wiliams.

those are do-able without taking up residence in fantasy land.

but none of those are wild and crazy - just bold.

Giving up 2 1sts for McFadden is more bold than crazy imo too.

Same with moving up for Kelly.

I tend to throw words around like crazy.

If they make either one of those moves its hard to argue because you have the possibility of getting a super duper star or you have the possibility of getting the best player @ WR in this years class when nobody outside of the Cowboys organization really knows whats going on at WR for us.

Thats just a scare tactic being thrown out there.

If you watch him its obvious he is the best receiver currently in this class.

I mean seriously that guy just looks born to play WR
I can't exactly say he's the best as I've not seen a lot of game tape on some of the other receivers, but from the few games I've seen him play, he's one guy I'd like to see wearing the star.

This I do know: he's sure handed, athletic, has decent speed, and has the size I like in a WR. You could do worse than selecting him, and after not working out at the combine and pro-day, I think he just might be there at the bottom of the first round.

IMO, he'd be a very good value with the 28th overall pick.

you have the possibility.... over the last 3 years, any players come out you'd give up 2 #1 for now? peterson? maybe but still early as he did get hurt again but did better than many of his 'hurt critics' would have thought possible.

bush? williams? calvin johnson? maybe some would argue the point but i've come to find some people do just that. argue. if their *cash* i don't see it happening.

so if i can't think of a player i'd have done it for in the last 3 drafts. don't see a need to do it now just cause we have a shiney object this year and jones had to say "wow" twice.

i see activity, but not moving up and rolling dice in a double or nothing move.
