Who said he was not in the realm of reach? Throw some information around, beyond just doubt...

Take your own advice and tell us what he's asking for, CC. You seem to be the expert on the topic. Thrill us with you hard, cold numbers.

I posted what I THINK. I never professed to KNOW anything.

Your ball..........

There is a serious disconnect somewhere in VR if they take back Ware and Murray. They are gone, move on!

Don't let them go in the first place...........

Boy big difference between the cases.

I wouldn't want Murray back either.

I doubt the Cowboys want him and I doubt Philly is going to cut/trade him.

I think the chances are pretty good Ware is released by Denver for cap purposes.

in the last two years in Denver, Ware has played in 27 of 32 potential regular season games, and registered 17.5 sacks (coughing)

And?... since when do we reward past success? We didn't reward Murray for past success. What he can do for us in the future should be the only consideration and at what cost. He's not worth it.

Won't buy the generalized version on Ware. There are too many positives to rest on a stereotype. I played the position...

Doesn't matter what you buy. The results say all that needs to be said.

And playing the position in high school or college in the 1970s are not even in the same universe playing pro in today's game. Let's not try and draw parallels between the two places.

I offered a realistic point to develop, and was again met with ego. I just countered and expanded. Care to discuss beyond a personal preference based upon age?

No ego here, at all, CC. My OPINION is based on what I've seen with Ware and what the numbers have born out. YOUR point of view is based solely on supposition and sentimentality. What am I missing?

There one goes immediately to one's own personality response.

First off, I first played with the USAFA Falcons. The team I started on went on to the Sugar Bowl against Tennessee. Next, I after that first year, I then went to Texas A&I Javelinas. We were undefeated NAIA - National Champs. Six people off that very team, ended up with NFL teams and 5 were Pro Bowlers during their careers:
Ernest Price, Levi Johnson, Eldridge Small, Dwight Harrison, David Hill, and Don Hardeman. That shows a perspective, that isn't just this group theory or a personal bias applied to older players.

That's a reference, beyond just starting to insult and reapply a single preference with proof of a generalized, not specific application.

If one chooses not to exchange beyond personal mood...no further discussion needed, then.

And, again has nothing to do with today's game or players.

Though, your resume is noteworthy and absolutely worthy of respect and consideration, again it's apples to oranges in today's game. One more time, my OPINION (can't stress that enough), is that from the numbers presented (statistically) and my own observations (certainly not a scientific or quantifiable variable), Ware is NOT as effective as a 4-3 rush regardless of games played or snap count.

Personally I would love to see him back here in a limited role.

I was able to get him on a 1 yr deal in Madden......after we had a perfect season winning SB 50......lol (yea, I played on "Pro" and won every game way too easily, so what?)

I can't think of a better FA signing than bringing Ware back. Randy Gregory would benefit most. Ware won't break the bank and would have SB experience under his belt.

Marinelli's defense is predicated on the 4 downlinemen getting the pressure...I say bring hardy AND ware back, draft Bosa and look out!!!! (ok, that may be a bit much, but we would get pressure)

This would be a good move. We wouldn't be bringing DWare back to be the man. He would be a starter that would be part of a rotation. Gregory would get his snaps too. Ware provides much needed depth. We will be very thin at DE without signing one in FA.

This is why I'll be rooting for the Broncos. If he wins a ring with Denver, he'll probably wanna come back here and retire where it all started for him.

So, solid but unspectacular with continuing injury concerns?

If Hardy isnt brought back as believed it leaves a big gap in the rotation. I feel good about Crawford and Lawrence contributing next year, but you need to address the other side of the line. Gregory could take a big step in 2016 but we need to make alternative plans in case he doesnt. If Ware is available why wouldnt you make a play for a guy who can get 7 or 8 sacks just stepping on the field? Still doesnt mean we dont address the position in the draft, but rookie lineman rarely produce a lot of sacks in year 1.
