They really wanted the the RDE, and didn't feel there were any others left after DLaw. Crichton is seen as more a LDE and Nix doesn't fit our scheme.

Being a ND fan, I like Nix. He was great as a junior, but didn't impress me a whole lot last year. Needs to drop weight and get in better shape. Think if he was playing in our scheme, he'd have to come off the field a lot.

that's a thought for sure but was Crichton a strong or weak end.Nix wasn't a fit but that doesn't mean I wouldn't
like him on my team.
