Yes, and Matt Johnson might be 100% too. You can NOT count on somebody who has been injured for the past 4 years. The number one ability is availability.

Not a good comparison
But point taken
Tons of players go undrafted and are cut from multiple teams before they are given a chance to show what they are capable of.
At least at one point Williams was a 2nd round draft pick.
I know. I came on a little harsh but as much as I would like to see him come through too you just can't count on him to be healthy.
You're just being realistic. I also think, based on Broaddus, that the Cowboys are developing
a summer/training camp plan to trade for a "Bellcow" RB should they be able to work a deal
with another team. I think Jerry has committed to going all in such that the team has
a fair chance to win it all for Romo this year. Nothing will be left to chance to get to the dance.

Can you name me an RB in history that has had injury and confidence issues since his sophomore year in college finally having the light come on and becoming superman in his 5th season in the league?
There are no comparisons for Williams. There's one thing to go from team to team because teams overlooked talent, it's an entirely different thing when it's due to injury.
Why do you think they're waiting for the summer? They want to give these guys a chance to show whether or not they are capable of handling this themselves.
There is a lot of talent on the roster, and if healthy, perhaps they can do some things.

The title of the thread confused me this early in the morning: R Williams the receiver or R Williams the safety?
He has game and a strong skill set. His issue has been staying on the field. But then again he went unclaimed all year on the practice squad. Assuming he's now 100% healthy I'm expecting him to be a key contributor.
